The way they heavily booed Cheryl and Simons decision and cheered Dannii's.

Also the chants of 'we want Paige' but sadly he didn't want to upset Cheryl

I was quite shocked that the audience didn't like Cher that much. Speaks volumes.

I shouldn't imagine Louis gives a crap what the rent-a-mob audience thinks

Unless it suits him of course.
The ones who have been sent home though have always been dignified and taken it in their stride. Cheryl's lot act like they're being sentenced to lfe imprisonmet and it 'just isn't fair'. We certainly don't see any of their 'edgyness' if they end up in the bottom two . When this happens they turn into cry-babies with no backbone.

Louis knew who Simon wanted and his job depends on doing as he's told

Louis was just doing as he was told. Cher, however, was clearly upset at how it all went down and I think she will need a lot of support to get her confidence back.

The audience should have voted with their phones instead and saved Paige from the sing off.

I'm not sure I care whether she gets her confidence back. She is the least cred, street cred artist in the X Factor, vastly overrated!

I knew Louis was going to save Cher, but had a feeling he wanted to take it to dead-lock.

Oh well, he has to follow his orders I suppose.

I agree with you, I was just making the point that she seemed to be seriously affected by it and it must have opened her eyes to the fact that she isn't as well liked as she thought she was, because all this time she's been told how brilliant she is and how much everyone loves her. I much prefer Paije.

Only judge who I believe wouldn't tow the line of the producers is Danni. Louis is full of shit so was always going to be Simon's lapdog

Don't you mean that you shouldn't imagine that rent-a-Louis gives a crap what the audience thinks?

She isn't entitled to support.
She's had several weeks of over the top praise by the judges, whilst the judges have been ambivalent towards Paije.
What about Paije needing support to give his confidence a boost?

Cher's been spoilt enough. She's had more support than just about any other contestant.
