If Wagner wins - it's the end of The X Factor...
Why do I keep hearing this?
Steve was considered a 'good singer'. He has flopped. As did Shayne. As did Leon. As did Joe. Has The X Factor ended with them? Maybe it's time a novelty act won and they could try something different with them. Jedward are still about and earning some good bob. |

I hope it does end, tbh. It's a total joke and Cowell's little cash cow needs putting down. I used to love it. Now I despise it. It's unrelentingly fake and manipulated from start to finish.

I don't think 20th Century Fox would do a deal with Joe if he was a flop.
![]() Anyway, Wagner is still here because it's been not that good with the talent this year based on their performances. I would not say that lightly, but it's clear that the "great" and "amazing" singers are really not that good given how awful these pass two weeks have been in performances. They are suppose to be getting better not worse. |

![]() If you are not happy with it, all you have to do is not watch it. If Wagner wins, Simon will turn his back on the show and that will be the end of it. I was gutted when Pop Idol was cancelled, really don't want X factor cancelled as well. |

I can see the new prize being 100k not a recording contract.
the penny must be dropping with Cowell now theres people voting out there for Wagner because if he did win..Xfactor is over. maybe instead of having his mind firmly on the US version the UK needed his full attention, for what good cowells been this year he might as well make this his last. |

Yes but XF hasnt changed since 2003 and its become stale with the judges taking over the show which is supposed to be about the singers. Too much ego.
So,a win for WAGNER is a win for CHANGE. XF needs reinventing and more impartial, like the way Pop Idol once was. A WAG-WIN will force that CHANGE quicker. |

It's too big, too popular for even Wagner to bring it down.
But I do think that the talent pool is shallower than past series. |

Its the judges fault because they keep putting novelty acts through to the final

Used to really enjoy the show, but now it is so obvious that its manipulated and we the public are treated as fools. It's taken the likes of Wagner to help bring to light what a farce of a show it's become. Go Wagner Go

Really poor show, and wouldn't be surprised if he did win, they may have salvaged something if there was any talent this year unfortunately there isn't so the campaign for him to win might be successful

Wagner is the buffoon. Every panto needs one of those too. It's nothing new, there's always one in each series. Jedward, Chico,...
Last year we had the Rage Against The Machine campaign (which was successful lest we forget) to keep Joe off Xmas #1, this year we have the Vote Wagner campaign. |

I don't think the X-Factor is finished but, regardless of who wins I think Simon will have a complete re-think about how projects the brand. This year has been an absolute farce from start to finish. He completely underestimated his audience and I doubt very much he will allow that to happen again.

I've never voted for one of these shows on television in my life. But now you've said that you're tempting me to vote for the very first time. |

Wagner winning could be the shake this show needs. Its absolutely dire this year. Can't believe this is the best talent out of ALL those people that auditioned.
They really do need to stop putting through the duff acts. And get rid of the bl***y girls/boys/groups etc. MIX THEM UP and draw lots as to who mentors them. |

If Wagner were to win, Simon Cowell would be a laughing stock just as he hopes to take the show to the US.
COME ON WAGNER
