'Speaking on Daybreak this morning, the 20-year-old said that he didn't approve of the booing and negative audience reaction that Carrilho received on last night's results show.

"I do feel a little bit sorry for him because people are blaming him for being in there - he doesn't vote himself in there," said Richardson. "But he is trying his best and it's his dream as much as it's mine or anyone else's."'

This kid is a class act. It is a tragedy that he has been booted out because he is not in the press every day like Cher.

Well, at least Wagner is original. The others are mere clones.

Somebody should send the link to Matt.

Would have loved the backroom staff to let them go at it - Wagner would have destroyed him.

Yes well Wagner is no real threat in the music industry and noticed he never said anything nice about Cher.

Poor man's James Blunt should speak to Wagner (karate black belt) in person rather than throwing hissy fits behind his back.

He reminds me of Lenny Henry. Or Luther. Or Eddy Murphy.

Agreed on every point Winterland and welcome to DS.

Matt/Katie and Cher could learn a thing or two about humilty and being gracious. Paige knew he was out from the minute his name was called against Cher. I thought he was the best act on Saturday night and was even better in the sing-off.

Such a shame he is no longer in the competition but I wish him all the best in the future.

So dignified, I was a big fan of Paige. Still a bit gutted that he has gone because I really did think he was the underdog of the competition!

I posted this earlier, he really is a gentleman about the whole thing. It was sad to see him go, at least he is on the tour though so well done to him there.

Paige is such a gent. Didn't deserve to go against Cher. Arguably better personality and better singer than Cher

Matt in particular.
Paije has shown himself to be more mature at 20 than Matt at 27.

What a contrast!

What a fantastic kid , if only he showed more of this side from day one . Don't blame him though , the unneccessary irritating people get the exposure anyway

I liked Paije but he isn't 'hot' or 'controversial' so out he goes - tsk

A gentleman to the end - so mature and intelligent. He was the most consistent male act throughout the competition and the judges never gave him credit for his brilliant performances.

This is how a real man behaves Matt, grow up.

I wish Paije all the best on the tour and in his future career, he has a brilliant voice and is really charming. With the correct management who actually care about him, unlike Simon, he can go far.

(also I think he is so cute and I want to give him a huge cuddle )

For a 20 year old, Paije is a really mature & classy guy.

Wagner is a pawn in $imon Cowell's game.

He is being used & abused.

It sickens me when they pretend to be upset that Wagner got through, when THEY are the ones that put him on the show.

You can't play games with the voters & then complain when the voters turn the game around on you.

Yes, Wagner is useless, but he should never have been put through in the first place.

After last night, I sincerely hope that he wins the show.

Good post and I agree with it all and although I love Rebecca, I will not mind if Wagner wins.
