It just dawned on me that today was the 13th Anniversary of Michael Hutchence's death!! I was totally devasted and shocked when I heard the news that he had died and even more shocked when I heard that it was suicide and that he may have been practising auto-eroticism!!!

I still miss him even now!! He was one of the most charismatic, talented, sexual showmen ever!! His songwriting was truly prolific!!!

To me Michael WAS INXS and INXS WAS Michael!!

He will remain forever in my heart!!!!

I can't believe it's that long ago

I saw them live a few times, I remember being on the front row and experiencing 'feelings' that were very new to me as an innocent young girl, that man was pure sex on a stick!

In some ways, I think Paula Yates was partly to blame for his death!! She was TOO possessive over him and wouldnt let anyone near him, not even his parents!! If others were allowed into their world, perhaps they might have known that there was something wrong and got help!!! Also, if Bob Geldof would have let Michael and Paula have the kids for Christmas of that year then also I think he would not have been pushed over the edge to the point of suicide!!!

I still cant understand why Bob Geldof has custody of Paula and Michaels daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily!!!

I would have sworn Michael Hutchence died in the summer

So that she would remain with her half-sisters.

Besides, why shouldn't she? When Bob had access to his daughters, Tiger almost always went with them. She had been a father to her since her father had died.

The members of the Hutchence family were either too elderly or too ill to provide a long-term stable home for her (her grandparents) or were unable to show that their reasons for wanting custody of her was for the benefit of the child and not for bloody-mindedness or personal gain.

Ultimately, she would have been taken from the life and family she knew to a family she barely knew on the other side of the world.

I thought he and the band were overated and still are, he was no Jim Morrison.
I agree.
