Be sure to remember that the mass of voting viewers are the real audience, this is an entertainment show for the masses not an elite few.

Yes - an entertainment show called 'Strictly Come Dancing'. That's right, 'Dancing'.

Something Ann doesn't seem to be doing much of.

At least John Sergeant made an effort ...

Really? who says that the dance lovers are the 'elite'? we just happen to feel that the spirit of SCD means that the celebs at least learn to dance to a reasonable standard. I certainly don't expect perfection.

BTW - you still haven't actually told us why you like Ann - do you really think it's entertainment?

According to today's popbitch email, Anne's (And the X Factor bloke's) votes are dropping and the stories about them topping the public vote are just PR blurb to push up voting figures.

Just saying.

You beat me to it. I was just about to post this from the latest issue of popbitch which has a much better accuracy rate than the Sun -

Widdy-Wagner have their work cut out

Those leaks from the X Factor camp about how Wagner's in the top three? Our ITV insider says "no way". He's only been a few votes off the bottom two almost every week. The Widdy vote over on Strictly is starting to collapse too as the joke's starting to pall. So why are the vote Widdy-Wag stories everywhere? Surely not to manufacture a little controversy and make sure they get your money, sorry, votes, eh? Unless a vast number of non-viewers are mobilised in an anti-reality show protest, Matt/One Direction and Matt/Scott are still the likely XF and Strictly champs.

Good thing no FM here would ever stoop to manufacturing fake stories or stirring up controversy, huh?

Just arrived back here this morning and I have to say that I will now be expecting some sort of driver to appear shortly to chauffeur me to town and then a minion to do the shopping for me... clearly I will require these being one of the elite.

I once got called a snob by Aussie English teacher for disparging The Sun - I've never looked back from that. Sometimes being elistist is good it means you're not going to settle for the same old dross as everyone else - I hate a lot of things the majority seem to love. Terry ought to remember the majority elected Hitler in Germany (I'll resist the tempetation to make any comparisons between that man and Ann if you call someone a Nazi then you've lost the arguement) so sometimes majority opinions are dead wrong.

The last part of this message is contemptible and very disappointing to have to read here.

Why ?..they have one thing in common, the Nazis persecuted homosexuals as part of their so-called moral crusade to racially and culturally purify Germany.
I'm obviously not saying Ann goes that far, but perhaps you should watch her trying to defend the Catholic Church in a debate with Christopher Hitchens. In that, the full realisation of the evils of the Church becomes apparent to all but the most obstinate of believers. The institutionalised rape and torture of children; the teaching that condoms can cause AIDS; the historical atrocities; the endorsement of dictators; the justification of slavery; the subjugation of women; the suppression of enlightenment thinking; the torture and murder of heretic scientists and the bullying and hatred of homosexuals.

I'm with olivej on this. If good dancers get knocked out while Ann stays in, making little effort and refusing much, then the show becomes the joke.

Every time we see Ann's training video's we can clearly see that she is putting in a great deal off effort and then gets no recognition for the dance steps in her routines.

I get no recognition for the c*ck in my trousers either. I wonder why that is?

I don't think so, but he might have got some of his inspiration from one of Frankie Boyle's routines.

Ann is quite likely to pick up extra votes from those already eliminated, you could see from Ann's training video that their routine was packed full of dance content. Craig is to be congratulated for recognizing this. He even went so far as to say,

"you have to admit she has got better"

Well done Craig thats what we like to hear, there is hope for you yet.
