I had not realised, this thread was a spelling competition.

Off topic slightly, but I cant for the life of me get my spell checker to work on Firefox.

I just think its a bit ironic for you to be accusing others of being uneducated! Pot, kettle, etc

DS is pretty unrepresentative of the average viewer.

I would imagine its mostly text-speak. The Romans used to ask which Gods protected an individual-if they were still around today surely "God" would have been replaced by "judge".

(Lol, after some red wine Im not sure if "God" should have a capital letter or not)

You need to change whatever profession you are in and become a teacher!

I'm a Celebrity started at 21:46, was meant to start at 21:40, so Attentional will remove the first 5 minutes.

X Factor tomorrow is a double elimination, and has Justin Bieber on, so could be another 15m+ figure.

no I think God should have a captail G.

I am sure the Romans would make far better TV, for example if they were doing The X-Factor of BGT the person voted off would be killed by a tiger, to appease the bored viewers.

I reckon Gillian McKeith is breathing a sigh of relief she was born now and not then. Her fate on "Im a Celebritus, Get me Out of Hereius" presented by Antus and Decius might have been far uglier!

Edit-actually I would not put it past ITV.

Can hardly be compared, can it? I won't shed many tears seeing You've Been Framed!'s 948578th (approx, conservative.) re-hash of old clips thrased by whatever massive movie premiere BBC One schedule against it, but I find it a bit depressing seeing one of very few British sitcoms of real quality currently on air being crushed by an average reality show carried only by Ant and Dec.

It's not as if the commercial networks put in much in the way of effort on Christmas Day anyway, certainly nowhere near as much as the BBC, for rather obvious reasons. If they did I could understand the frustration which you appear to have over this issue.

BBC One is the default choice for 1 day of the year, not 365 days of the year like some on here believe, and mostly because you have all the family round the tv watching together and the BBC have all the best shows on the day one after another so it's a no brainer!

Justin Bieber, isn't that a bit of a step down in the guests department? I know he's been revered to some sort of God like status on Twitter and the like, but compared to Kylie, Take That and Rihanna, he's a bit so what!

The Wanted and Nicole are not exactly huge names either. Must be saving all the big guns for the next 2 weeks.

I was only be sarcastic about it in regards to BBC1 on Christmas Day because of what you said about I'm A Celebrity... . I'd be interested to see what the commercials would try out if BBC1 went off air for whatever reason but, frankly, the BBC are the only broadcaster to put in any effort on the day itself. But I'm not going to wish any show off air because a) I don't like it and b) it harms a show's rating that I likes.

The Peep Show having a dip yesterday is not going to have a long term effect on its future. Channel 4 will understand it was up against a 90 minute I'm A Celebrity... and consider the rating accordingly. Though it should see a boost next week as I'm A Celebrity... is airing 8.30-10.

The Glee cast and Alexandra Burke next week. There was talk of Prince for the final but considering his infamous unreliability for showing up I'd say thats unlikely.

I'm not really following it this series but I don't dislike I'm A Celebrity as such, it's fine for what it is, it just irks me how much of an impact it is having on everything else. It's not that good to warrant nothing else getting a look in for the best part of 3 weeks! I suppose it's light-hearted easy going viewing and that's why people gravitate towards it. I'm not really wishing it off air, that comment wasn't meant to be taken too literally, but I certainly won't miss it when it comes to an end! ITV might I suspect. Personally I'm looking forward to a bit of ratings normality. And by that I don't necessarily mean ITV1 doing not so well, but just more of a level playing field.

It's just Peep Show by the way, not The Peep Show. You should have a peep yourself, it's rather good.
