I genually thought it was good.
The explosion and the stunts where people flew across the road and had things falling on them was good but the tram looked like something off of a playstation game

ok granted ive not seen the tram crash in question, but what were you expecting, something out of a major hollywood blockbuster?

I always thought Corrie might be over stretching itself, to do something complex like a tram falling off a bridge into some buildings stunt, on a UK TV budget.

This is not me knocking Corrie, just being realistic.

No of course not but i didn't expect it to look that tacky.
They could have at least had people on the tram

I think, for the Transport Authority's cooperation, they couldn't have passengers on the tram and they had to make it clear it wasn't the driver's fault - hence the tram was out of service, the driver was clearly seen trying to stop the tram and it was the explosion that caused the havoc, not the tram itself.

can i ask why are the ashes highlights not on any of the main channel. With the way England are doing at the moment it could get good ratings.

I don't think any of the main channels could come to an agreement with Sky regarding the highlights package because of the charge Sky was placing on it.

I think that was the issue but I may be wrong.

I was a bit disappointed Channel 5 didn't go for it. Their highlights programmes for the home test matches and one day internationals, whilst not massively popular in the ratings, have generally been well received by fans and were helping to build the channel's reputation as a good sports broadcaster, along with the Europa League.

I think the problem was the Ashes contract stipulated that highlights could only be shown in a certain timeslot, which obviously makes it a bit unattractive to a major broadcaster with more limited scheduling flexibility, especially at short notice.

(Cricket on Five normally airs at 7:15pm, ITV4's Ashes highlights air at 10pm)

Not long now, I suspect. Haven't come across any stupid newspaper predictions... yet.

Yes. That's their prediction I'm guessing based on X number of factors.
