It's just been announced today that Ingrid Pitt who was in both The Time Monster and Warriors Of The Deep has died.

God bless ya.

Really sad to hear that, I knew her from the Wicker Man. RIP.

Countess Dracula!

That's sad news. It's a shame when we lose an Icon. I've a soft spot for Ingrid.

Must admit, preferred her performance in The Time Monster. That Myrka Kicking Moment in Warriors Of The Deep will be more what she's remembered for in Who Terms sadly, which is a shame. RIP.

She also wrote a Doctor Who screenplay that never made it to screen but which was produced last year by Big Finish as part of their Lost Stories range:

I was very surprised by The Macros, as I expected it to be a whole load of nothing, but it's actually really good.

Lovely lady. I remember her in Where Eagles Dare.

I met her at a Pinewood meet in 87.

She'd been very poorly for some time.

The Wicker Man is one of my favourite films, and her two Doctor Who appearances are unforgettable for two totally different reasons. I've never been a Hammer fan, but it's easy to see she was a truly iconic actor. Sad news.

Sad.
Fabulous body and breasts.

One of the tv women in my youth.
