The hard disk failed on my dti 6300. I bought a replacement PATA drive (that's what it uses!) and fitted it. It's recognised and records ok but I can't get series link working.....there's no option for it showing.

The disk came formatted but I haven't formatted it whilst fitted to the box. Would that restore series link?

Also noted that there is a jumper across a couple of the pins. I threw the old disk so don't know if there was a jumper in place there. Would that make a difference to series link?

Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

Series link usually comes back after a while once you've formatted the disk - I think it downloads with the 8 day EPG so check that you're not on 14 day. I'm guessing you have the most current software version on the disk - 5.08 i think.
