How i saw it was that Jenny has been working hard looking after the camp whilst Kayla has done nothing except receive massages and wear very small bikini's.

Kayla finally got given a job to do with the cooking of the meal, and probably Jenny thought "thank god for that, I can have a rest" ...... but then Kayla patronisingly asked Jenny to "do a little job for her" and wanted her to gather the food dishes.

I can understand why Jenny wanted to . I think Kayla was a bit patronising. I also think Jenny was starting to feel the strain and was OTT in her response.

A 50/50 split in my eyes.

I don't think Kayla was any more patronising to Jenny than Allison was to Kayla when she "gave" Kayla the job of chopping vegetables.

i do think that some of the 'incident' may have been edited out...Kayla had obvioulsy been getting on jennys nerves for a while.

I have to agree with jenny i'm afraid...kaylas a stupid little girl who takes her clothes off for a living...just my opnion..

I havent seen Shaun do much about camp, or Linford or Allison or Gillian or Aggro or Stacey etc etc etc, IF Jenny had been brave enough to confront Gillian on her past behaviours and detrimental affect on the camp then i may have a little respect for her, she should have had self control enough to brush off any percieved slight from Kyla.

Kayla's tone was very patronising and I can understand why Jenny was so annoyed. Kayla talked to her like a child. I don't think it was malicious on Kayla's part it just showed her immaturity.

It was hilarious: Kayla with a deadpan face telling Jenny what to do, and Jenny's total look of shock as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing Jenny imo totally over reacted to the situation -Go Kayla

I'm sure Kayla didn't mean to sound rude or patronising.

Jenny's 'idiotic girl' and 'I have no respect for what you do' comments made it personal and nothing to do with what had happened.

Kayla appeared unbelievably self-satisfied with herself after her little job cutting up the vegetables. I can well understand why Jenny was irritated at being ordered to "do a little job for me". Britt was obviously shocked too. Jenny did the right thing to go and rant in private.

I think the origin of Kayla's behaviour was that she felt affronted at Alison asking her to help, but did not know how to object, and in order to salvage some personal pride she decided to behave the same way towards Jenny.

Given the difference in their ages, it was the way she asked, almost as if she was giving an order in front of the whole camp. I would have been furious too, being ordered about like that by a young girl. Mind you, I might have had a moan to anyone who was listening but I don't think I'd have been quite so explosive.

Lembit has made the biggest contribution towards the upkeep of the camp. Everyone seems to have overlooked this, or maybe its the Lembit hate thing. I do not watch the ITV2 show, it is way too inane, so I have not seen what litlle they show of the camp, but I assume we are not seeing that much anyway, as they keep anything interesting for the main show.

I don't see the point in this, if Kayla does turn them on will they then go and have a go at the others who didn't think to do it?

I think some people on this thread are being hypocrites, saying Kayla was being patronising and then going on to call her things like "a silly little girl" .

I don't see how age matters with asking someone to do something.

I honestly don't think that Kayla's thought process would go that deep or hold a thought long enought to hold a grudge. I mean that in the nicest way. She is a very sweet young girl with no side to her at all. Girls of her age in the States are far younger than they are in the UK. I can just see her as a cheerleader not so very long ago.
I think if someone actually took her aside and told her she was thought of as lazy she would be mortified.

She's savvy enough to be using the show to promote her bikini range, so I'd say she is smarter than she appears. It's obviously only my take on it, but she seemed put out to be asked by Alison to do a job - perhaps because she felt she was being pulled up on being lazy. The fact that she went on and on about this job suggested to me that it had hit a nerve somewhere. The fact that she used exactly the same terms "i'd like you to do a little job for me" suggested to me that she was passing this on to Jenny. I guess it may be that she is feeling a little disorientated among so many Brits and was testing to see whether Alison giving her the job was just a typical way Brits allocate jobs or whether there was any criticism of her intended.

She needs to lose the ridiculous cartoon voice then.

What's someone's voice got to do with it, how do you change your natural voice? There's a girl in my local gym who's American and sounds pretty simliar to Kayla, she can't help the way she sounds

Totally agree. She went way down in my estimation for this - and for her comments. Kayla is what she is - a very pretty girl who has made a very good living from her assets. Nothing idiotic in that. Why can't Jenny respect that? I do - good on Kayla; she's been clever rather than idiotic and earned a lot of money. I can't say Kayla's my favourite, but she's pleasant and sweet - certainly not deserving of very bitter and patronising comments from someone who has no right to feel superior. How would Jenny feel if someone poured scorn on her for standing up in front of an audience and talking about periods. Not like she's a brain surgeon or anything herself.

Why is Kayla weak? I would have thought Gillian was self-evidently the weakest since she has huge panic attacks every two minutes. Kayla seems happy enough in there.
