Even though she is a grating nuisance, she probably meant it as a joke and the sun has just put a massively sensational spin on it. This is what the sun does.

As for Fakey McFakefaint's alleged comment, we can't know if she really meant it or not without seeing the footage. In fact since it's the sun I'll say I actually doubt if she even said it in the first place.

I don't know...I just get the feeling that there's a lot going on behind the scenes this year because of Gillian... Let's face it - under normal circumstances she'd have been gone days ago.

That is either because

1) It's ITV trying to calm the situation down from the inside
2) The Sun made it up.

I'd love the "pregnant claim" story to be true, but I do think unless we see footage we should assume the Sun made it up.

It is very possible to get pregnant at 51. The average age for menopause is 50 which means a lot of people get it way after 50. Having said that ... I don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth which means it is highly unlikely.

Oh I know pregnancy is possible at 51, I've delivered babies from one or two ladies in their early 50's during my career, but a) it's rare for a lady in her 50's to carry a baby to term, and b) I'd bet my daughter's paper round money Gillian IS menopausal.

Lembit (very tongue in cheek) listed her ailments (including pneumonia and pregnancy) the other night on ITV 2. Since it followed from her starting to throw a strop about being called out and jailed for cheating in the puzzle task it was obvious if not spelled out in words of one syllable the basis for that.

Actually that is quite a good assumption.
Having been through my own menopause aged 46 I can honestly say that I did go a bit crazy at times and act out of character with rapid mood swings.
Menopausal or not Gillian is clearly not well. She looks awfully pale.

She's a classic example of somebody who is very familiar with the legal system and is not afraid to use it. By claiming she's pregnant ITV must take her claims seriously, and also all the phobia stuff (despite the disclaimers she would have signed)as if she could prove they caused her and harm-physical or psychological after she had "disclosed" her medical issues she would be awarded damages by any court. Its sad but true, the way she argued about "define contraband" was typical ambulance chaser-type standard stuff. Awful woman, very dishonest. I wouldn't trust her an inch.

Nigella Lawson is the same age as Gillian. And Nigella still looks so young and glowing. You definatly ARE what you eat.
