Ok, lets have a look at this, she has played everyone like a fiddle with the fainting and extraordinary exhibition of phobia to everyone we have seen that for ourselves. The camp have not really seen that played out becuase of course they cannot see the Trials they can only go by her word.

The trial that would have shown her for her true colours (Live Trial) she fainted again on cue because she knew she would have been found out. She also as we know lied about the digger trial. I do think at somepoint Dom and Shaun and Britt had sussed it before the Live Trial and only then did she confirm their suspicions.

The immunity last night where again she cheated and had a massive strop going to jail was her totally playing up for the camera and to shout out "who is in control now" was totally correct, she is controlling the whole thing. She knows EXACTLY what she is doing

The Trial last night with Gillian and Dom was again a good indicater, she kept insinuating she could not use the digger Ant & Dec Confirmed this was not the case and she opted not to do it, Dom was not at all suprised. To also then during the task state she had never had her head under water, makes me question how then did she practically drown last year which she clearly stated in a previous water task.

After last nights task, she was clearly heard to say she cant leave as she wont get paid which is why she is still there. Now the only other big thing that is looming is the first elimination and she is one of six not immune. So what does she do "hear voices and state she is pregnant" if reports are to be believed. Therefore is she plays it right again, she will be signed off for "medical reasons" get paid, go see he friends in Oz for "recoperation" get home and write a book about "overcoming phobias"

This woman is very, very clever and on occasions her mask has slipped (watch her talking to Stacy last night when she was happy to offload to stacy how much she loves her, then stacy said everyone was in the same boat, that nasty flippant remark comes out of Gillians mouth).

Gillian will turn this around, without a doubt, as the victim who overcame adversity, its all been pre-planned

I haven't watched much of this series, i really cannot do with Gillian what excuse can i come up with next McKeith.. Why don't the programme makers remove her on the groundsa of her "mental" state?
What exactly is she getting paid for? She has done nothing in there at all..

I agree that her phobias and fainting aren't real by any medical definition of either term, but I'm beginning to think Gillian herself believes them to be real. If she was behaving more or less normally in camp and just fainting on cue at trials I'd say she was putting it on, but she'd have to be a terrific actress to keep up the atrocious demeanour 24/7 as she appears to be doing.

I think we're seeing Gillian's real personality - she's someone who has learned very early in life how to get attention and I bet this behaviour goes back decades.

Well, Britt did say in the Bush Telegraph that Gillian was a better actress than her!

On her turd in a box channel 4 show she was always absolutely awful, and that was edited in her favour!

Interesting you saying that - I have a 'friend' who I'm 99% sure is NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) - who lies all the time. It took me years to suss that for the most part, she has convinced herself that this foundation of lies she has lived with all her life, is true! I don't know if GM believes she's actually fainting (but so obviously isn't!) or whether she is just putting it on. But a GOOD actress???? NO!

the producers of the program will be in a lot more control of things than we and Gillian thinks they are.

There IS a massive amount of cameras in and around camp, Microphones picking up every last word. The program makers will have psychologists watching everything to make sure nobody is "cracking up".

We get to see a tiny % of the days filming and get to see the highlights of Gillian’s antics. There is no way we or anyone else as part of the general viewing public can make an accurate diagnosis of her mental health.

Going by what we have seen and how the production team reacts to her antics, I don’t believe she has really fainted. I don’t believe she has the phobias she says she has..

If now she is saying she is hearing voices, I honestly believe she is TRYING to be removed from the show so she will still get her full fee... I really hope she is not voted out first, now she hasn’t got to do tasks any more ( I can’t see the camp voting her to do any more) keep her in as long as possible so if she wants to meet up with her relatives it will have to be on her own time and her own pocket...

Its is more than likely she has done this for years and more than likely those who know her are used to it and deal with it in their own way. But because its "the norm" for her behaviour then when it becomes a "useful tool" to achieve her main goal (which in this case is to get paid, get a holiday and write a self help book) its an ok thing.

When people are not used to this sort of behaviour it is grossly exaggerated to get through to people how desperate she is because those in the camp and viewers would not be used to it.

To her it is normal, I do hope she is got rid of from the first vote, but I think she may get off the rest of the trials for "medical reasons" and then when she does get booted basically the show has confirmed by abstaining her form the trials she has a medical "phobia" problem and therefore justifies her actions and therefore we are all wrong and she is right?

But this is how clever she has been

1) if she walks no fee
2) if she gets signed off she gets fee and freebie holiday to friends and misses out on the first vote (time to write book)
3) If she dont get voted off for whatever reason and the peeps in the camp keep her there its a victory to her as she may get into the final which is "adversity over phobia" hence the book

The claims of hearing voices/pregnancy etc are probably her trying to joke, problem is she lies so often that you don't know when to believe her? I choose to consider everything she says is fabricated then I'm generally safe.

Not sure if she has a nacasistic or histrionic personality disorder? They're very similar and hopefully the show's psychologist could help us out with a diagnosis. If not, Fainty McFake will write a book naming her personality disorder and how she lives with it. Another book will come out discussing her phobias; a third will discuss her fear of diggers and their multiple levers; a forth, fifth ..... You get my drift.:yawn:

Let's not forget that all disbelievers will be sued by her husband for deformation of her character which we all have wrong. She's really a very sweet honest lady allegedly.

for point two, that why the producers will not sign her off... keep her in until she is VOTED off and cut down the time she gets to frolic with her friends and relatives at their expense in the hotel. She may well do that but, a large number of people in the UK have seen what happened and her awful behaciour.

This is what puzzles me. Her husband's a multi-millionaire, I believe. He could have married any woman he wanted, but he chose a wizened little Scottish lady with a whiny voice, attention-seeking behaviour and a horrible personality.

Just goes to show, money doesn't buy you everything if you make the wrong choices.

I've dipped in and out of this series. Not a fan of Gillian but i'm not fully convinced she is faking her faints?! I think she is a troubled woman tbh.

I think the reason she faked the live one was that she knew she was going to have to at least try as she was being observed by her campmates. She started telling Dom early on that she felt faint - to set up the scenari - and then duly did with great aplomb. When you listen to her afterwards saying that she still thought she might be able to do the trial you can smell the BS through the telly.

The woman is one helluva diva. She's nasty, manipulative and totally and utterly self-serving.

I do believe she's genuinely scared of creepy crawlies but she's not phobic - otherwise how does she sleep at night?
