she IS intelligent and has worked the media very well to make the money she has. She really does not care what people think of her because there are enough people around that actually see her as a role model and aspire to be like her.

She is maddening and I'm sure I'd run out of patience with her. However, after watching last night's program I do wonder whether all her strange behaviour comes from a general feeling that she's not liked/loved. She really perked up when she and Dom Jolly won all those stars and he let everyone know that she'd done well - she suddenly seemed human.

Nothing. I'm from Glasgow myself. But the accent, which is one of her most irritating features, is undoubtedly and uniquely Scottish, sadly.

The woman is clearly so self obsessed that she’s become deluded beyond any reasonable means. As other posters have pointed out, I also believe she suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. She completely and utterly believes in all her phobias and the number of these is increasing exponentially the longer she’s in the show. However, she’s clearly not particularly bright because she’s contradicted herself on one too many occasions: as OP remarked, how come she’s never had her head under water until the other day and yet she almost drowned once?

And besides, how can someone be scared of touching a half dead worm, yet be more than willing to stick their head in a bowl of poo??

Beg to differ Gillian and katie yes both very clever and media savvy, and both play a "part" to suit their needs. Only difference is one has a pair of tits the other does not oh and KP does not care what others think, the other actually does
