My favourite band of all time. I only got into their music after his death.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVm3ntHjpvY The above video just shows Freddie's magic. The way he has 80,000 people eating out of the palm of his hand. I can't see anyone ever being able to connect with a crowd that large in that way again! |

Wow - 19 years ago !
I remember hearing the news on the radio. Didn't even know he was unwell. He was a great entertainer. |

19 years ago? Wow. Time flies.
I'd have loved to have been around to see them play live. I was born just before he died. R.i.P |

R.I.P. dear beautiful genius Freddie.
I cried for a week when he died and he is one of a very few people who I really miss to this day. |

The lyric in Bohemian Rhapsody "Goodbye everybody, I've got to go, gotta leave you all behind to face the truth" became more poignant when Freddie died.

RIP Freddie.
What a star. Never forget you. Real talent. Its sad to think that with all the advances made in battling HIV, he was'nt around to see it. |

Just thought wouldn't it be a good idea for Queen to re-release this single (for charity ?) & a commeration of his death. What do people think?
