Paprika is really popular on the continent. That's all I used to see when I looked at the crisps on supermarkets in The Netherlands and Germany.
There's probably a German supermarket worker complaining about customers saying 'crisps?' without the courtesy of a 'where are the' in the German equivalent of the retail workers' thread

Yes that's what I noticed too.
Lidl's do them.
