I don't know what anyone else thought, but in my opinion, the man was doing on YF what he always does best - which is talk absolute rubbish. I was shocked to see him when I started watching YF tonight. But I decided to play along. Then he started talking.

First was what he said about Christopher. OK, I agree, he's a nice guy, hardworking, but he's not creative. To hear Mackenzie say that creative people should not be running a company or any organisation made me want to bang my head against the wall.

Then came Stuart. OK, he's good entertainment, but there is no way he will get to the final. And a brilliant salesman? Really Kelvin? After seeing him drive off custoemrs in the past? He may be a Okay/good slaesman, but not brilliant.

In the end I got so sick of hearing him that I switched the TV off and finished watching YF several minutes early. He is just full of hot air.

P.S. Sorry if I sounded over the top here, but he really irritated me. I can't stand this guy!

Kelvin Mackenzie did what he does best - he talked out his arse for half an hour.

I struggle to think of a more odious panelist.

What about when he asked Christopher why he made the decision to change the time to 1 pm when he'd already given his reason in that he didn't know? Then he contradicted himself when he said that sales people should be like christopher. It's a true saying that people buy people first, so why on earth did he think Stuart would be a great salesperson? Uh this is the guy who was walking backwards trying to sell to a customer in the first episode and he was rude then he was muttering under his breath about another customer. I couldn't get McKenzie's logic on that one at all. I thought Ed Bryne was clever and funny.

This **** was on question time last week too. Didn't watch that or this purely because he was on the show. Absolute idiot. Hate his guts. He talks utter shite. How he still gets airtime on any tv channel is truly baffling. Two BBC shows in two weeks? What are they playing at?

Kelvin MacKenzie, to put it nicely, is an idiot. And, then, to put him on You're Fired with a scouser, is just insulting to Christopher. Notice how Christopher barely acknowledges Kelvin.

I was just going to post almost exactly the same words peodude, my observations exactly. Don't be at all surprised about Christophers' reactions though, all us scousers have a dislike of the Sun and anyone to do with it from that time, it's now in the blood. This clip by Alexei Sayle captures the hatred of the Sun in these parts exactly. It's no exageration, we really feel this way:

Watch the education of the very young lad in the street regarding the Sun, they only need to be told once!

I'd be astonished if Stuart made the final. Interviews at best, I think.

I liked the way Kelvin had a dig at Lembit Opik when referring to his team's defeat on Comic Relief Does The Apprentice. Kelvin was every bit as bad. I remember him making a snide remark comparing Hardeep Singh Kohli to Hitler, which he knew Kohli would react badly too, then standing back with a triumphant smirk on his face when he did.

He aint much better when he is on question time. Always likes to have last word in and try and get people on his side with his pathetic opinions

I thought it was beyond crass and insensitive to book him on the same show as Liverpudlian Christopher. Maybe it's because my partner is also a scouser but I thought the bad blood from the rubbish Mackenzie spouted about the Hillsborough disaster was common knowledge. I'm surprised Christopher was able to be so polite about it all.

I dislike Mckenzie for a number of reasons:
1) Being editor of a "comic" that became the UK's best selling newspaper - he helped to dumb down britain
2) His blinkered and innacurate criticism/reporting of the Hillsborough disaster
3) His belief that he can print a "good story" even if there is absolutely no truth in it. i.e claiming that Elton John employed rent boys and that he had the voice boxes of his guard dogs removed so their barking would not disturb him. Elton John sued the Sun and was awarded £1m in damages.

Kelvin Mckenzie, a complete waste of space being paid from our TV licence tax......a disgrace

So that he can express his views and get people like you to react?

Maybe - now that you mention it I may have played into his hands. That doesn't change the fact that I can't stand the man, and would rather not have my liscence fee money going towards him being on the BBC.

I always get annoyed by people like that - who rely on being annoying and people hating them to be famous. Katie Hopkins is another infamous example.

That's how he has made his money - expressing his opinions and not caring whether you agree with him or not. Producers know exactly what they are going to get when they book him. People like him, Clarkson and Littlejohn make a living out of it.

Actually, he had a point about Stuart. You need all sorts in sales teams and at the junior level to do need people who have the energy and self belief to keep knocking on doors, hammer the phones, and not to care about how brash and annoying they are. Sometimes that's the only way you get appointments.

That's why I cold never work in Sales. I'm too reserved and honest.

Kelvin will peddle his right-wing populism anywhere he can. He was on Question Time last week. I have to admit his pronouncements on YF last night were even more preposterous than usual.

I thought he showed LS a complete lack of respect by insisting on referring to him as Sugar, he did the same to Gordon Brown while on Question Time, he referred to him as Brown. He is such an arrogant man!

Clarkson is nothing like MacKenzie, Clarkson is an act, and a nice person, as well as being talented. MacKenzie is just a C U Next Tuestday.

That might be so, and I accept Stuart probably is a good salesman. But Kelvin is wrong, I think, in expecting that to see him to the final. Sugar has a history of not putting the brash, pushy sales types through to the final.

I don't see why we need any "celebrities" on these panel shows. As if someone is better equipped to comment on the Apprentice just because they are known in the public eye. It's the same when we had that cringeworthy feature on 606 called "Celebrity Superfan" - I'd rather have more unseen footage or chat with the fired candidate.

I used to work with him in publishing and he is just as vile off screen as he is on screen, if not more so.

I sometimes find myself agreeing with MacKenzie's views on Question Time but I can see why people hate him so much and why he's anathema in and around Liverpool over that disgraceful front page and allegation about fans at Hillsborough. You have to be a bit vile to work for Murdoch and edit the Sun anyway.

Anyone else notice that Christopher was wearing a red wristband on his right wrist.
You can make it out when he waves the the audience as he walks on set.

Guessing it's a HJC wristband - asuming it was was c**tface Kelvin's benefit.

Nice one Christopher.

What makes me laugh is, whenever he's on tv, he is always introduced as "Kelvin Mackenzie, former editor of The Sun"

Talk about being known for what he USED to do. As opposed to what he does now, although "Kelvin Mackenzie, annoying little *********" wouldn't be politically correct.
