Can't believe her and Chris had a thing - what was he thinking?
![]() She's utterly useless and deeply unpleasant, but she's pretty. And it's not exactly like he's either competent or nice, is it? I don't think I can think of a better match, to be honest. |

The bit that shocked me most was when she actually did a VT to camera (so no excuse about not realising she was being filmed) and said she hoped her team would lose so she could tell Stella what she thought of her in the boardroom - someone with absolutely no team loyalty is the very last person I would want working for me and I'm sure Lord Siralun will have marked her card accordingly.
And, as one bad immaturity deserves another, here is who I think she looks like: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur...w=1003&bih=567 |

I quite like Laura though.
Ok, so she's got the whole passive aggressive thing figured to a tee and she's a bit stroppy and too bothered about self preservation, but overall I still think she's a heck of a lot more likable than some of the others. She's still in there so she must be doing something right, but even if she is a bit useless in business, are we really convinced any of them are any good? I just think the show is entertainment- I don't think I've ever believed this is a genuine search for Sugars next apprentice. |

I would have definitely employed Paloma. Oh yes. But let's just say she wouldn't have paid much tax on her earnings.......
![]() ![]() ![]() I just can't see anything any of them have done this series, that any other reasonably intelligent person here couldn't have done themselves, were they on the show. Ever get the feeling people are picked for the show for looks or irritant factor over actual business skills?

Laura deserved to get her arse fired this week. She did nothing but dodge blame, whinge and cock up her pitch. She has Stella and Joanna to thank for still being in the competition because she would definitely have been fired if their team had lost.
I feel she will go very soon. Sugar wouldn't want to lose any of the other girls ahead of her. |

Spot on. Some people are praising Stuart for not joining in with her bitching, but Laura has similarily blanked Stuart's moaning about candidates in the past.
Though to be fair I can't recall Stuart moaning and whining like Laura does. |

Doesn't follow. She should have gone out in week two and it was a travesty that she didn't. Since then, she's either been on the winning team (sometimes largely through the efforts of others, as this week) or hasn't been brought back in (because Alex can't read a room).
I can't remember if she's been in the board room before though. Has he spared her, when he could have fired her? I do think she's a heck of a lot more pleasant and normal than some of the others. |

I wouldn't mind but she manages to be graceless and nasty about those carrying her! |

She's been on the winning team by sheer luck and in every case the team would have won without her. If it's boys vs girls next week she'll probably coast through yet again!
I wouldn't mind but she manages to be graceless and nasty about those carrying her! They fail because everyone else is loud and obnxious and they aren't heard. Alan usually fires them for not being entertaining enough. I agree it's weird Laura is still here. Maybe he fancies her? |

![]() But I don't think she's as bad as people make out really. I don't find her scary at all. Just your typical passive aggressive female. |

If she was that bad, why would someone be terrified of her? That'd make her more vunerable to being fired and they'd bring her in.

I don't find her scary either; I just find her talentless, charisma-free and unpleasant.
![]() I just see the show as entertainement. Whether rightly or wrongly, I am far too cynical to take Lord Sugar and his search for the next apprentice seriously. Quote:
However Alex inexplicably didn't take her in and paid the price for not doing so.
Maybe Laura would be better at picking people to go back to the boardroom? |

Why would Mr Sugar want someone who can't even make obvious decisions? Maybe Laura would be better at picking people to go back to the boardroom? |

Laura's better at covering her @rse, that's for sure...which will only get her so far. Other than that, she's totally useless!
I think those people deserve to be fired to be honest! |

Is she the moaniest prospect ever to be a candidate?...
Many candidates have been negative, but I cannot remember another one that has been as bad as Laura. Was there ONE task where she wasnt a complete cry baby?. |

In my opinion she was definetly in the wrong when she started complaining about the deals - especially after she did badly in that big pitch when she talked too fast (the background music for that was hilarious btw
). Her days are numbered I'm afraid. Unless she pulls off something big soon.Ha ha , me' and my other half actually thought they speeded up that segment
