At first I thought Jamie was going to really shine. But AS was right when he said he is slipping back each week.

He talks so much but says nothing. All cliches but no substance.

It was his fault they failed this week but he couldn't remember why he wanted the late appointment but couldn't wait to agree with AS that the early bird catches the worm.

This point was not pursued by either Chris or Christopher. That cost Christopher is place on The Apprentice

I find Jamie very smarmy and insincere - both in what he says and the way he says it.

And he has this constant smirk on his face that I feel compelled to wipe off.

He made me laugh when he said "that looks like a German flag with an eagle on it" - in other words, the Federal republic of Germany flag.

Yeah, he's been slipping lately. But I'm getting the feeling after watching the preview that he has potential to pick himslef back up.

It was a bad sign when he was asked for examples of his brilliance and came up with nothing concrete. I think he should have gone.

Totally agree. I can't stand his FAKE over the top 'posh' accent and his need to accenuate (is that even a word?) his 'Ts'

I actually agreed with what LS said. In the beginning I thought he was very competent. As the series has gone on he's become more and more of a backstabber and a manipulator.

Yeah, he blatently lied about that 1 o clock thing. Chris (topher-can't remember) the army one could have said Jamie I arranged that for 9 o clock and you were reading the diary/notes and said to reschedule for 1.

Sugar was all over the place imo tonight. He never pulled Jamie up on WHY he changed the appointment with Marriot, a crucial and pivotal reason for the loss, and when Jamie just waffled on about what he had done previously, when asked directly by the Lord of the Sith, he should have gone then. What is it LS always says? I don't like bullshit? Prime example there, and yet he fired Christopher, who really didn't deserve it, on balance.

Chris himself could have gone, as it was his misguided idea to sell German flavours to the Germans (anyone remember selling cheese to the French??), and that in itself also contributed to their loss --- a lot of the appointments failed due to the flavours ("If you didn't tell me it was goulash I wouldn't know" etc)

Of the three who were in the Boardroom, LS fired the least deserving.

haha you had me doubting myself there!! lol.

Jamie certainly isn't so confident talking under pressure. If he gets to the interviews, he's in trouble!!

I'm sure I can hear signs of a stutter and wonder if he's had eleclution lessons which has resulted in the funny posh accent and what you said about the T's.

I'm in agreement with you, I can't stand the way he speaks.

Wouldn't you, if you were on the Apprentice, assume that each task you might end up in the boardroom and be very likely to be asked: why should I not fire you? So you'd think up days in advance the answer to that question and it would likely be 3 quick points all of them supported by an actual thing you had done to date.

Instead, in every boardroom interview, we get almost every candidate - not just Jamie - waffling on and on in hysterical toe curling cliches about leadership potential, strategic thinking and other meaningless drivel off some wanky marketing course that anyone could say about themselves at any time.

I've interviewed thousands of people over the years and if they come out with that stuff I actually stop them and ask them what does it mean, literally? It's garbage language. Almost no one that starts off speaking like that can ever seem to stop it and personally I'd never hire them.

'can i interject' Jamie only seems to have his toff accent when hes in the boardroom and it doesnt suit him! i thought hed be a good candidate for the final until last week when it all started to fall apart. What with Jamies toffness and Herr Baggses (stu) air of arrogance its a toss up whos the most smug!

Sugar asked him "give me an example of your genius?"

...and Jamie went "well sure, there've been lots of examples. Take for example, task one. I er... did that and helped with y'know, the other thing and everyone valued what I did."

Sugar:
"You haven't given me an example."

Jamie looks down at the floor in embarrassment.

He should be fired next week! Well, along with Chris 'monotone man' and Lauren 'the moaner'. And Stuart 'I live for work 24:7 but I'm too knackered so I need sleep'. Heck, how about all four of them go next week in a mass firing!

I can understand him firing Christopher on the basis that he hasn't really shown any entrepreunerial spark. However, if you wanted someone to organise something, or a crisis arose I would pick him above all the others.

What I really can't understand is why LS didn't push as to the reason why he wanted the 1pm appointment rather than the 9am one. If they'd arranged something with someone else, then fair enough, but they hadn't. I think he just couldn't be bothered to get out of bed that early!!

Definitely the one who got away this week I reckon, though Chris comes a close second.
