My friend used to work for a little independent crisp company and he loved it. Unfortunately the recession got to them but he used to love that job. I don't know if I'd like it personally, I think it seems a little repetitive after a while. Cut potato - make crisp - put in bag - shake bag - put in other bag - and repeat :P

How fun did that look??
I'm not a big crisp fan but I once had a tour of a crisp factory in conjunction with preparing for some software I was designing.

Tasting a freshly fried sour cream and chive flavoured crisp just after it comes out of the flavouring drum you get an idea of what a really good crisp should be like.

What was most amusing, though, was to see them switch from making one brand to another. The crisps were just the same, they simply changed the foils (tubes of packaging) from one company's to another.
