Did anyone else notic how they artificially speeded up Laura's presentation?

Nope. The typical Brit abroad would have shouted every word very slowly, as if making English louder makes it more comprehensible. Whatever else Laura might be, at least she's not that kind of patronising cretin.

I agree with the above, she didn't come across as rude, just far too fast.
I do think she has been edited but I also think that they just MIGHT have edited Stuarts comment in. It is just possible that he warned her after the event, having witnessed the 'fast scene' and this has now been edited in before the event, to make Stuart look better, or for sheer programme value.
After all they have thousands of hours of tape from all the candidates- we have an automatic response to accept that what we see on screen is the chronological order of events, but how often do we really just see clever editing over the ACTUAL events. This is about entertainment!
It would not take the editors long to work out that Stuart was a 'gift' for them.

Why do you find that remarkable? He was half of her team, and doing the pitch meant that they either got or lost the order, so Stuart would have been basically putting the good of the team over his own personal agenda. I was screaming at the screen when she started off at 60mph and then took off --- how stupid can you be? It's not like she wasn't already advised/warned about talking too fast. But Laura seemed to be in the mindset of "I have this to say, so you had better keep up with me and if you don't then it's your fault not mine."

That speech was definitely speeded-up digitally. They'd basically speeded the audio up (without pitching it up to make her sound like a Chipmunk, which is what would have happened had they simply ran the tape faster) and then ran the tape faster to lip-sync it to the new soundtrack.

But like everyone said, she must have been going for it originally for Lord Sugar to pick up on it.

I understand that he wanted his team to do well at that stage, what I find remarkable is that he managed to pick up on the one thing she shouldn't do in that pitch and it turned out to be the one thing she did.

Ah, I see. I understand now.
I suppose since he had been with her when she pitched before, he just knew how she talked and, as they were in a foreign land, he knew that it would be very important for her to get her points across clearly, and that would mean speaking slowly.

It's true though that it is remarkable that, having had this pointed out to her (being pre-warned, as it were), she still went ahead and did exactly the opposite! Proof, if any were needed, that Laura listens to no-one and does whatever she likes. Later on she even refuses to accept that she had been speaking too fast, while throwing in a little sulk for good measure.
