Elephant - White Stripes
Just re-discovered this album and had forgotten how good it was. Hadn't played it for years. Heard it was one of Radio 1's Masterpieces this week. Didn't listen but dug it out from the back of my CD cupboard. Seven Nation Army, the Top 10 hit single is the best track but I like the whole album. All kinds of music in there, rock, blues, punk and country all come through. Never bought anything else by them though.

I agree, one of my favourite albums ever. Particularly love Ball & Biscuit (check out the live VH1 version on YouTube)
You should have a listen to their other albums, White Blood Cells is a quality album as well. |

. Yeah, Ball And Biscuit is incredible. Also a big big fan of Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine. |

I absolutely love this album. It's definitely my favourite of theirs. In fact, it was the last album I bought from them. I never got into Get Behind Me Satan and Icky Thump.
I particularly like Hardest Button To Button, Little Acorns and Black Math. I don't think there's a song on it I don't like, well, perhaps Well It's True That We Love One Another isn't the best

One of my favourite albums.
The best song on it is 'I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself'. |

I don't know if you know, but that song is a cover of Dusty Springfield's version (not written by her, though). However, I think the White Stripes version is far superior.
