Someone should faint on Strictly

Probably live on TV to boost popularity or ratings, after all it has worked on X factor (although that was off screen) and on I'm a sleb.

Maybe Artem?

Probably be Pamela. She looks the sort. It'd stop her pawing James for a few minutes...

Marie Osmond collapsed live, on DWTS.

She was gasping for air after a strenous dance.

Her partner, rather unchivalrously, let her hit the floor.

Len did nothing, but look dumb-struck.

Tom Bergeron, the one man on the show with some intelligence, managed the situation.

On the 200th DWTS show, a couple of weeks ago, they had a spot featuring the 10 most memorable moments from the first 200 shows - Marie's collapse was it.

So what can we do for SCD?

I thought, perhaps, some kind of stunt for Ann.

Perhaps tripping on the top step of the stairs, falling over the side, and into the orchestra pit.

I'm sure that would be a great hit with all the viewers, and would be re-played as the SCD all-time highlight for years to come.

I reckon it should be the audience when Ann starts "dancing". They could all slide off their chairs in unison.

Marie Osmond showed what a true faint looks like. McFake is an example of a bad acting class.

Anton, near the beginning of the rumba. It'd be totally understandable, wouldn't mean there was any less dancing, wouldn't change anything result wise and would save the audience from a fate worse than death.

If Artem fainted there would be a stampeed of wildebeest migration proportions of women (and some men) rushing over to resuscitate him!

It will be Craig after Ann snogs him after her rumba. And right after that the whole audience will faint, too

I was just thinking about this - I would love to see how Brucie coped compared to the wonderful in control Tom (I do think Tom is fab and slightly fanciable in an older guy kind of way !)

I think that is an inspired idea Gill!

A kind of reverse Mexican wave

Bruce vs Tom Bergeron. Poles apart. Bruce can only dream about being as charming, clever, droll, witty and charismatic as Tom.

I don't go for older men, but I might if they were like the divine Tom B
