There is no rule that says women must dance in dresses, and in fact at the competition I was at last weekend there was an advanced dancer who looked stunning in bright pink fringed trousers and top

My personal preference is for the ladies to wear skirts. I actually find it most distracting when the ladies wear those trouser skirts. I spend a great deal of their performance trying to work out if they're wearing a dress or culottes. If it fits with the theme ie Erin and the Chicago routine then it's fine.

There appear to be a few of the dancers wearing trousers or similar on Saturday.
You like to think everything's about your favourite but it really isn't. It's very tiresome.:yawn:
I tend to agree with footygirl to a certain extent - the ballroom dresses are lovely and I thought Flavia made a big mistake by wearing those trousers on the week they were knocked out, but I don't mind the type of thing (culottes) that Felicity wore last week as they did actually look like a dress!
I don't really care what Ann is wearing as I tend to fast forward through her dances anyway.
