Craig was positive in his comments and did acknowledge that Ann had improved which is what the show is all about.

The show is becoming little more than a dancing bikini parade, hardly clean family entertainment, apart from Bruce of course who is the master of light entertainment, and always has been multi talented.

Not counting this year due to her early exit, we've enjoyed four years' spectacular viewing of Ola Jordan's epidermis. Did she pass you by?

What did you think of Stacey Solomon's bikini in I'm A Celebrity?

He normally put on the most ludicrously self-conscious 'miserable' face as if his dog had just died. His absurd reputation on here as some kind of Olympian beacon of objectivity and authenticity is almost beneath comment. What he actually has become is a pantomime turn. It's just that his marks match some of the self-obsessed dweebs on here. All of the judges play a particular role. The idea some on here seem to have that Craig is 'above it all' is laughable.

Some idiot dressed up as Austin Powers, and then dancing a normal routine, strikes me as mindless pap.

I fail to see how Strictly fails to be clean family entertainment - some of the outfits might be skimpy but everything essential is covered!

I actually prefer more conventional dance attire as I think it is more flattering. A beautiful dress that flows can add to the visual appeal of the dance. (Erin's black waltz dress onSaturday showed this to perfection)

Ann's AS on Saturday would have looked a lot better if she had agreed to wear something closer to a traditional waltz dress.
The first lift and spin could have looked almost elegant with a full skirt billowing out.
The straight leg cut off trousers she insisted on wearing did not drape and flow and made the lift look merely laboured.

A fuller skirt would have also masked her footwork somewhat to casual viewers, although more expert dance critics are not usually fooled by hidden feet!

Terry I don't whether to laugh or cry at your posts

I don't think many men of your age (assuming that is you in all those links you've posted) would have an issue with any of the women's costumes - you know amazingly there's nothing wrong with people's bodies, they're not "wrong"

and you don't look like you were born when bruce was the king of saturday night tv

perahps the best thing would be a time machine to take you back to the days of high Victoriana of covered table lengths and crinolines where not even a woman's ankle could be gloimpsed

A time machine would be handy but in its absence we have to resort to watching repeats of Brucie's shows when he was king and others on sky to see what real variety shows used to be like, It makes you realize how far our TV today has sunk into the gutter. There are plenty of other shows the girls can get their bits out on today, I do remember that Carol didn't used to flash her booty in such tight short numbers like that new one does on countdown. Seeing the women dancing in bikinis on Strictly is just ridiculous, as is Gavin's flesh flashing booty wobbling Chippendale impressions that he does, its all cringworthy. Let the women dance gracefully in the long flowing gowns with dapper looking guys, there is no need for the sleaze that we are being served.

What did you think of Stacey Solomon's bikini? Or being another show, was it ok?

I don't see anything wrong with a bit of out door exercise in shorts back then.

It is remarkable the pictures of Bruce with scantily clad women. And I'm sure he didn't know where to look when judging Miss World.

I think Terry is an "old" fuddy-duddy. The "old" is in inverted commas because people can be old in their attitude, but still young in years.

I am old in years but love Strictly and think they all look magnificent in their various outfits. The only thing I am not sure about is Gavin's lack of a top. Not a nice look for ballroom dancing.

Interestingly, and getting back to the thread topic, I suspect we'll see if the publicity is geniune or manufactured, if we keep seeing (to take a hypothetical example) artificial Ann threads being bumped over the next few days.

I await contributions with interest,

If they want to take the show in that direction they should really call it Strictly Come Bikini Dancing, which is a true reflection of the shows content now, at least the show title would give the viewers a warning of what they are tuning into see. I noticed you have asked me twice about Stacey, and I think she would look fabulous on Strictly Come Dancing in a long flowing gown.

So alright for her to parade in a bikini so long as she doesn't on SCD. Right. Bless your double standards.

Oh, and Bruce judging Miss World was at his prime. It was alright then.

Huh, no Terrysign.

Why, it's almost as if he weren't a real fan of the show.
