I have a lot of mp3s on my Humax HD. Is there any way of importing playlists to the Humax as the inbuilt method is clumsy. Thanks.

Does the hdr give you a message that a usb device has been connected ?

Can you transfer the files to a standard pen drive via a PC ?

Wow, I've seen threads hijacked in the past but never before seen it done in the second post...

Maclynn I'm only guessing here but the playlist data would be contained on the Hdd and would require 'mounting' to a PC running linux to locate the file. Though certainly if this file can be interogated and reveal its structure, ( I imagine it would be some form of text file) it may be possible to recreate and edit the file on the PC and then transfered back onto the humax hdd.

Obviously without the ability to read and write directly to the hdd this becomes more of a faff than the existing method.

Thanks for your reply. I thought it would not be simple.

After opening the root folder of the usb device press yellow to switch to music mode. The default is to list video files

OK, thank you. Perhaps an idea for the next PVR.
