Is it possible to boot directly to BBC HD on 108? I thought I had achieved this by going to "time" enabling "power on" and setting 108 as the power on Channel. This doesn't work as my post of yesterday will show. With this option you have to stipulate a time for the machine to switch on.

Is it possible to boot directly to 108 without using the "time" menu?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Robert

No, it defaults to the 1st channel and as they wont allow us to change BBC1HD to the 1st slot, it boots to BBC2 (at least for me).

Id like the same to get the HD EPG.

Thanks Flyer 10

If it boots to 102 for you and 101 for me, doesn't that suggest something is changeable?

Correct, only the on timer allows you to choose a channel to boot too.

Ive asked for them to allow us to change BBC1 with BBC1HD but I dont expect them to do anything.

I'm not sure I've fully understood what is being posted here but the Humax will reboot into any channel; it just has to be the channel it was tuned to when powered down.

That is what I have always seen.
I would expect that to change only if a couple of scheduled recordings were current, thereby making your last on channel a no go area.
