Just tried it, and no it doesn't work despite listing BT Vision on the website.

Vision really needs an app that will allow you to edit and set up recording like the Sky+ one. Would be excellent!

It'd be realtively easy to setup. All BT need is a web front end for the user to use to remotely setup a recording via any web enabled device. This will then be updated on the BTVision servers without actually needing to contact the Vision box.

I chatted with the guy who wrote Meomote, and we established that BT had closed port 8082 which is used for 'remote use over the network'. So maybe they can be convinced to enable this feature?
A remote record application has been asked for previously, but nothing's been forthcoming. I guess it's on a list somewhere of great features that could be implemented...? |
