For any fellow Adam fans, he is doing an interview for the X Factor magazine today, not sure if it will be in this weeks though. I suppose it partly makes up for him not being on the show. Then again the magazine is run by @popjustice who is quite pally with Adam's UK PR person.

Glittering up to go and watch the great Lambert in Manchester tonight so I'll miss X Factor live.

Soooo jealous you're going to watch Adam tonight! I really wanted to go to his shows in London, but I was lacking in money and friends who also like Adam when the tickets went on sale

I know the feeling. Blink 182 tickets went on sale yesterday, but they started from £40! Who can afford that these days? We're coming out of a bloody recession!

There was a rumour that he was going to be staying around and performing on next week's show but I think that's all it is, a rumour. He would have fitted in perfectly with this week's theme, assuming it's still rock.

Adam's tickets weren't as expensive as that but they sold out in half an hour. Given how quickly they sold out, I'm surprised they didn't add extra dates or move to slightly bigger venues.

I wish they could have worked something out for him to be on the show

and I also agree that they could have booked bigger venues for him considering how quick he sold out

I hope he goes for bigger venues next year. I've been to Vienna one and it was 700 ppl capacity. Birmingham was only 600.

I actually got my dad's card number as he was going to get me blink tickets for xmas so that one was ok, then I was out so had to use my iphone to get them and by the time it loaded it was sold out!

The worst thing is where you really want to go to a show and you end up paying for someone else to go with you so you don't have to go alone

Assuming he's back next year.

The London venue has a capacity of 2000 but even tickets for that were gone in no time. I don't see why they couldn't have booked the Indigo2 (only 500 more capacity but a much nicer venue to be in and get to) or some further dates around the country. I know the nearby Hammersmith Apollo that has twice the capacity was already booked for that night.

Mhmm I thought promoters liked making money and when you sell out they add dates or upgrade the venue!

Didn't we all? That's what's happened in other countries where he has sold out tickets quickly. They have upgraded the venue (it wouldn't have been possible to add extra dates because of his tight schedule) and that's why so many people here are surprised. However, I know Adam has commitments in America but not for another 10 days or so after his last show here so even any non-availability of slightly larger venues on the same night would not have been an issue. They had diary leeway with which to play as the UK was the last stop on his tour.

Still, it's just another representation of the shabby way he's been handled in this country compared to in most others, only this time the people who took the blame for the rest of his shoddy handling in the UK can't be blamed as it's not their job to arrange concerts.

But who is also very disparaging of Adam. Who can forget his last interview with him? Hardly flattering or inviting, was it?
