i can't believe he got a nine for not even remembering the steps.

will he get a ten for being awake and finishing the dance next week?

I thought Scott was very overmarked until I saw the 10 paddles go up for Pamela & James' messy Charleston.

I'm beginning to think the scores are predetermined.

I am tending to agree with you. That was obvious from Pamela's scores - that Charleston was soooo overmarked - clumpy, yukky, no joie de vivre...yuk!

Alesha was relentlessly unfair tonight and gave Scott that 9, shouldn't have happened.

The marking from the judges is ridiculous this year, I'm confused as to how someone can get 9s for forgetting the routine. Matt was so much better and yet got lower scores from some of the judges .

The overmarking is ruining Strictly this year for me.

Well at least Pamela got through her dance knowing the moves

I though Matt and Pamela were the best tonight. Scott and Kara in my opinion were both overmarked.

They are biased, simple as that. Craig was the only one worth listening to tonight as he marked the contestants most accurately. Probably a Moira Ross agenda that Scott got given the marks he did. She should get a moutache lol.

All the marking tonight verged on the ridiculous, but the over-marking of Scott's routine was the most blatant. For the first time, I felt that the judges had made up their minds beforehand what their marks were going to be, and their remarks were merely an attempt to justify those marks.

Scott messed up - he knew it, Natalie knew it and the rest of the world knew it. The lifts were good and there were places within the dance when it wasn't entirely awful, but two 9s?

Matt is not my favourite, but I loved that dance. Yes, his face can be intense, but to mark him down for that, when the story-telling was great, the lifts were fantastic, the musicality and ... oh, words fail me!

And then Pamela's dance was, IMO, also over-marked. Yes, it was fun; yes, she always shows full-on commitment; and, yes, there were some brave lifts. But it was also clunky, hackneyed and I didn't really enjoy it - certainly not as much as I'd enjoyed Matt's.

Still, in the great scheme of things, I don't suppose it will make any real difference - only my naivety has been damaged. I expect Scott, Matt and Pamela are all safe and that it will be Patsy and Gavin in the bottom two, with Patsy going home.

Must be a secret plan to get Scott out by playing teacher's pet - I'm not a big conspiracy theorist but the only other explanation involves men in white coats coming to take most of the judges away...

Thank heavens for Craig - who would ever have thought he would become the only semblance of sanity on this show?

Yes , and Alesha and Bruno looked stupid giving Scott a 9 , she just looked clueless , as did Scott .

That doesn't warrant 10's though

Maybe it's because Anne Widdicombe deserves minus marking that the other people are deserving higher marking. I don't give a damned that people like Pamela, Scott, Matt, Kara are overmarked. Anne is the joke, and the other ones deserve 20's in comparison to her.

It was a good job he didn't get more than Matt otherwise the forum would have been on fire.

It was outrageous but, I still think the worse was when Bruno admitted he only gave Emma B a 10 so she would be safe.

I thought the overmarking was absolutely ridiculous, and the judges have quite possibly done Scott no favours at all by marking him out so clearly as their favourite. If he'd covered up the mistakes, then fair enough, but they were so obvious and I was scared for Natalie. 7 at most if i was feeling generous.

And that's possibly the lamest excuse in the book. He's not the only one who's still working fulltime - the 2 finalists last year did it too. If he's this tired now, he has no hope if he makes it to the final.

At least she:
a) Didn't forget her steps
b) Showed some expression in her face
c) Didn't nearly drop her professional partner

It was a 9/10 relative to everything else that was danced tonight, therefore the scoring for her was fair.

They had to though, it was the best dance of the night IMO, they had nowhere to go after the stupid marks they gave Scott. I know its not his fault, but I'd be a might peeved if I were Matt.

IMO, the scoreboard is all wrong tonight Patsy should be above Scott and Matt should be above Kara.

I agree, it seems to me that they are trying to avoid tied scores so that the people at the bottom of the leaderboard are in greater danger of being voted off.

Erin was the voice of reason on Twitter tonight, I agreed with almost everything she said and almost nothing the judges said!

I love Scott but I had no idea what was going on with his marks tonight. Actually I had no idea what was going on with a lot of the marks tonight. I was scared Scott was going to drop Natalie at one point! You could see him panicking and going blank. There was no way he should have got 9s. That was serious over-marking. The judges (aside from Craig) need to sit dow and re-think their marking criteria.

Scott will definitely have to up his game next week as the last two weeks be has been below par. I know he is working on Eastenders but Matt is doing Countryfile and the One Show.

I couldn't believe the 9s I did actually shout at my tv which is something I never do
