Pants? Do you mean you want them off or on? It's not clear what you're asking.

BIG pants IMO. Lovely lads, nice looking... but a group? Not in a month of. And their best performance tonight where they really came together... You Are So Beautiful? ... 2 of the 5 didn't sing- what's that all about?

With the winner's song supposedly being Green Day's Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life), I firmly believe everything's being setup for One Direction to win. How exactly could Rebecca sing that and make it good? Matt could maybe pull it off as long as he can put a few big shouty notes in there.

I don't think it's a good sign for humanity that I understand this.

I didn't know that Good Riddance was rumoured as the winner's song! Do you know what the other songs in the running are?

I loved it when Louis said something along the lines of "proved that you can all sing", well, two of them didnt sing anything at all and once again, the chorus was ALL backing track.

I took it that Danni had had a good telling off lafter her comments on the two lads last week who were miming badly and not using their mikes when they allegedly should have been.

Some of you on this forum are incredible, JLS only had Aston singing solo when they were on the show.
Is it so difficult for dimbats to understand how a group works, not every member sings solo.
I can't remember Marlon, Tito, Jackie or Randy Jackson singing solo as part of the Jackson 5.

But at least they would sing at some point, even just the odd oooh in the background, dance or do summat to justify them being in the group- Niall and Louis were just bookends... I felt for them.

Don't feel for them, they're in the cushiest position possible: **** all effort and a guaranteed place in the final.

They sang the chorus.
Niall has sang several times and is actually very good.
People need to forget that they entered the competition as solo artists, they are now a group and it has to be whatever works for the group.

No, of course not ALL singers in a group do solos but we are constantly being told that they were too good to let go vocally from the auditions and therefore why we "allegedly" ended up with a group of them. Why not prove it? Why have major backing tracks for harmonies/chorus? The answer we all know.

It IS a vocal competition, not a "lets see who we can get in the studio and make sound really good" instead, like JLS.

Now, if we were to vote on who can simon make the most money from, I would certainly be voting for them but we arent.

But they will forever be known as the Andrew Ridgeley Beibers... and it's not their fault it's undoubtably Mr C's.

I actually feel for Niall. That kid can sing and is lovely. Louis is a parasite that can't sing one solo line and even the background vocals he messes them up.

I doubt that. The rest of JLS now sing solo, Aston was the only one that sang solo on the show.
They will all get their chance when they release their album.

Marvin sang the odd solo every now and then but Aston was the main singer.
