Anyone else find Rebecca dull?
I just don't understand how she is a favourite? Yes, she has a very good voice, but last week she was awful, and this week she was a bit shaky too. People say she is the best singer in the competition, but how can she be when she has no versatility? We haven't seen her sing an upbeat song where she has to really perform. It's always just her stood there with these self-indulgent singing sessions. It's just the same thing every week, I find her so BORING!
Sorry for the rant, but am I alone in thinking this??.... |

I agree. She has got a good voice but is as dull as ditchwater. She doesn't move one iota

To be fair the whole show had died a death with me. There are no acts left that I find interesting. Really is an anti climax this year.

So no you're not the only one. |

What you don't seem to get is that a good voice and a classy performance isn't dull to most people. I do agree that she doesn't move much but neither does Leona and look how far she's come.

Yeah I find her really bland. I don't have any favourites this year, so wagner gets my vote!

Rebecca makes you realise how utterly brilliant Alexandra Burke was.
Alexandra has great vocals & can move also. She also showed versatility; something that Rebecca has not shown once I believe that if someone is to win this show, they need to be tested, taken out of their comfort zone & show some versatility. |

She moved in most of her XF performances and only stayed still for a few. And if you see her on tour you'll see she certainly does move and dance.Rebecca is just an awful performer. She's had weeks to improve and she simply hasn't. She has her voice and that's it, which doesn't sound great all the time to me. She goes off-key and shaky quite a lot. |

And Leona does move a lot. I remember her dancing in her performances, and in the video for Forgive Me she does a lot of dancing. She also had a variety of ballads, midtempo songs and fast ones on her albums. Leona is good. Personality wise, she may be incredibly boring, but she knows how to perform. |

I agree about the Leona thing, Forgive Me is definitely fast, and a lot of her performances on X Factor were fast. Rebecca is alright but I whole-heartedly agree with Danni that she has to at least walk around the stage at some point.

No I think she's lovely with a beautiful voice.
When she releases some songs you won't be able to see her anyway. |

Not at all, I love her voice, I'm not interested in seeing the rubbish Cher does, that bores me rigid.

I really liked both Rebecca and Matt at the beginning, but recently have become really bored with their performances. Too much of the same old, same old each week.
At least folks like Katie and Wagner try and vary their performances each week so we can at least enjoy the anticipation of what they will do next. Matt was my favourite as we entered the live show, and am struggling to like him any more. Rebecca's songs, whilst her voice is good, are just plain dull and lifeless. Someone said she has to move around a bit sometime, and have to agree with that. Sadly, Aiden was someone I didn't like at first, but grew to appreciate his intensity, and then we lost him. Interesting how these things can turn around in a show. Normally, I work out who I am going to support from the start and stick with them, but not this year. |

I've always found her dull. She does the same performance every week and has the same look. Scraped back hair and some sparkly dress. Everyone else makes an effort to look different.
She's also allowed to get away with singing to the floor with her eyes shut! And always get praise heaped on her. Why? She just looks and sounds like Sade - and she's history. |

I think she has great stage presence & a beautiful voice. I suppose it depends on everybodies indivdual tastes. whether you like that kind of performance. All the acts are good in their own way.
