Maybe when the lines opened after the first set of songs Cher was in danger so they decided to give her the second pimp slogt

The running order isn't fixed. Been a few threads on this, not sure why people think this The running order does change from the first half to the second half, it has done in previous series.

For Cheryl's group it does.....everyone else is stuck with what they're given

Ofcourse it's not fixed. A girl closing the show every week is not fixed at all.

Only with Cheryl's category it would seem.

last year Lloyd Daniels (you know, Cheryl's act) was moved into an earlier slot in the second half. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way of things.

Also, another fact I'm afraid - Dannii and Simon only have one slot, so they can't swap their acts around.

Well Wagner managed to be first in both sections. Funny that.

The order may well change, it it doesn't magiically do so. They obviously decide who they want to perform in what slot.

Well they haven't. In fact on average, it's Wagner who has the highest average position. Cher has the lowest.

Katie is much more talented than Cher. Cher is young and will do well in the future though. It's katie's time now....

Cher has the lowest average performance order of any of the remaining acts, so she should be on last. It's only "fair" like so many people on this forum want.

It would've been the second pimp slot for Matt too, whichever one of them closed the show. Yet I have a feeling if he performed last again no one would be complaining

Am I too cynical in thinking that Rebecca was moved into Cher's slot in the hope that people not paying enough attention to the numbers might think that as Rebecca was 4th in the second half she would be number 04, thereby giving extra votes to Cher.

They could swap with each other And I'm talking about the X Factor were watching this year....let's not get too dramatic.

So you would want 1 Direction on second to last and Matt Cardle's second performance half way through the show?

People were complaining last week how 1 Direction always go at the end, and now people are complaining as to why they DIDNT go at the end!

I thought I imagined it until now Wouldn't be surprised if Miss LIttle Diva insisted she performs in the last slot (especially after last week results) leaving producers no choice but to do a swapsy with Katie.

Also very convenient that none of Cheryl's 3 acts went on first, second or third despite all other judges having less acts than her :
