I've noticed a trend with Cheryl-fan boys/girls. Lack of sense of humour when it comes to their idol. I hope soon they realise that she has trotters of clay.

well in all fairness, she's not the one who can't stand someone they don't even know. She is trying to do something with her life at least. also you don't really know how she feels.
It's all right to theorise but you are stating that you understand what she is like. And you can't possibly.
I don't really care what she is like to be honest. No one is perfect.
She's fair game for jokes. But you don't really know who she really is. And there is no real need to feel that stongly. So that really does say a great deal about you. Not in a bad way. Just in that you probaby shouldn't judge.

But surely everyone is entitled to have their own opinion? Whether it's about someone they know or someone on television. X Factor is all about the public having opinions on people they don't personally know!

Yes. An oppinion. But one should never claim to know what a person that we see on the tv for a few seconds every week is really like. I don't see why people get so angry. I don't like to see people saying that they can't stand someone for their personality when barely any of it has been shown.
And if this is true, am I not allowed to have an oppinion on another poster's comments?

Of course you're allowed to have an opinion on another poster's comments but you were saying that that poster shouldn't judge. But what is having an opinion if it isn't judging?

You dont get diabetes from eating too much sugar, you get TypeII diabetes from eating too much, period.
