I mean I can remember every single one of her performances and know what songs she sang, she never once had a bad week and did a combination of uptempos and ballads, current and traditional songs. She was an awesome dancer too. I honestly think she had the best x-factor journey ever. And she didn't even need pimp slots, she opened the show twice

Oh and she, despite being amazing every week, actually got better!

Series 5 is my favourite.

The standard that year was incredible.

Apart from Eggnog and that one who kept going on about his late wife.

She was a good dancer as well. She did proper choreography, not just moving her legs by a centimetre like Rebecca did tonight.

Not at all, no. Leona was more consistent and talented.

no. Leona was.

Rydian second. some were a bit cringe. But he did the very best with wat he had, always enjoyable for me.

I LOVE Leona and right now technically I think Leona's the better singer, but on the xfactor I don't think Leona showed enough versatility.

Leona and Rhydian were more consistent, I feel, but Alexandra was indeed consistent too.

Lets not turn this into Leona vs Alex for the nth time. They were both talented and consistent. Who you prefer is down to personal preference.

All the winners bar Leon have been the most consistent throughout the show.

All three really good singers. Rydian is my fave. something a bit different.

I can't think of one performance from Alexandra where she wasn't note-perfect though. Even while dancing like in Toxic and Relight My Fire.

in terms of who had the most "wow" performances, then yes Leona is the best ever.

however, Alexandra certainly never had an off week, always sang very well, with the occasional "wow" performance (Candyman, Listen, Hallelujah).

Leona was dreadful at the uptempo numbers (Lady Marmalade was awful), whilst Alex got them spot on.

Alex is probably the most consistent overall.

Completely agree! She was awesome every week. She always involved you in the emotion of whichever song she sang. If it was an upbeat number she had you smiling. If it was a ballad, she gave you goose pimples, and brought a tear to your eye.

She was ill that week and the song didn't suit her at all. Simon never should have picked it and should have realised when the lyrics had to be changed that it wasn't suitable for her. Her other uptempo Could It Be Magic was amazing.

I don't think Alex was anymore consistent than Leona, Shayne or Joe. All four were stong vocally every week and delivered.

Whoever had the most wow performances is purely subjective. For me, Alex wins hands down over any other contestant with Rhydian a close second.

Leona, Alex, rhydian between them never gave a bad performance so were equally consistent. Consistency is about delivering to the same standard week on week, which they all did. It's not a case of 'Leona', 'Alex' etc was 'the most consistent'.

Though I agree that Joe etc were consistent, Alexandra showed consistency and 'versatilty'. That is what made her such a great winner for me. She could pull off any song.

Fair enough you don't like her, but I don't see how after performances like Candy Man, Toxic, Relight My Fire and Dont Stop the Music she could ever be in the running for most boring contestant ever.

I'd say Verity from series one.

I don't think she was ever boring. Every week was different and even after winning she's proved her versatility.

She's not my cup of tea, but she's head and shoulders above most of this year's contestants i.e. she actually has some talent
