Series 6 Trailer To Follow A Christmas Carol
Amazing, I always look forward to that. Mind you, it was impossible to tell much from the series 5 one. Looked very exciting though!

Where does it say it's on after "A Christmas Carol"? It could be the one for the week before it starts for all we know... 
At this early/ mid stage in filming, it is most likely that this will be pinned onto the christmas special, IMO. Surely promotional trailers for 2011 will be dealt with later on???
Anywho, I reckon that, this close to ACC, the trailer in question will be the one that we usually get after the episode

I agree with you there.I don't think there is much doubt this trailer is being prepared for after the Christmas episode. If it was for just before series 6 they would wait to incorporate footage from other episodes being filmed.
Plus there is the fact that we do in fact typically get a preview trailer after the Christmas special is a strong indicator we will again (last year it was shortly after the New Years episode).

I've just told HWMBO that if he truly loved me he would go and get a copy of the Series 6 Trailer NOW! Am I being unreasonable in my expectations?

I am sure he is doing his best to get it for you. Although I think the current delivery estimate is about 27 days.
