Why didn't you use a proper description then? Do you believe Zain is ashamed of his heritage? Are you ashamed of your heritage? Why not use the word Asian as another poster dared to do, instead of masking over it by using the word tanned? Do you think we are bothered that Zain is of Asian heriage? I'm not, I think he's bloody gorgeous.

Because I was basing them all on Justin Bieber! Justin Bieber is not, and will never be, Asian. However, he could get a tan, dye his hair blonde, or get a perm. Comprehende. No I'm not ashamed of my heritage, not that it is any of your business. I'm mixed white and Asian and proud and voicing it just for your benefit! If what I said was really as offensive as you're making out, do you not think more people would have pointed it out?
ETA: I actually said the first positive thing about them in the live thread earlier and it was an agreement with another poster that he was a looker. Some people are just out to cause trouble.

Well, I'm sorry I offended you. I've never considered tanned to be a racist term.
Also, I don't want to start an argument but 'No Canadian white boy could look that good by getting a tan' is bit... if we're talking about being PC here. Hey ho.
