It annoyed me when he called Matt "genius", because he also said the same to Katie and I thought she was rubbish.
I think Simon knows all to well the potential & quality of Matt.
Matt has had a shitty week. Started withblast Sunday and Konnie and culminated with tonsilitis. Tonigh, even below par blew all others away, even song 1 was best of Round 1, but I dont want Brian to have him next week, no more performance.

Yes, Matt really was great tonight and definitely the best this week. I absolutely loved his NWS and most likely the best of the series. Matt done a great job and I also loved Cher this week as well and Rebecca with No Satisfaction!
Well done to Matt for fighting back with having such a bad throat!

Good point! The guitar just seems to make him feel at home too. If I were Dannii, I'd make him keep it for all performances. Doesn't matter if folk start thinking he's samey. It does wonders for his singing.
