Wasn't keen on Artem's American Smooth last week, although they danced it beautifully. Like a lot of Aliona's routines it was a bit show dance-y. Artem's AT was sublime though.

Could be that they all want to show off their celebs now in case they get knocked out later, but I'd like to see more traditional routines earlier in the show and save the tricks and experiments for the later weeks.

ETA glad to see that they have all ditched the mezzanine now. They should scrap that next year, what a waste of space!”

Thought tonight was the first time they`d used props?

Tall Paul, if you want to ask people to be patient with you, how about you are patient with them? I've noticed another thread tonight which devolved into much the same debate on rudeness and autism. You should re-read posts before you publish them to see if it would be more appropriate to say that something is your opinion. Maybe that is obvious to you, but it is seen as being more polite. It also means you won't get into these tangles of saying something people think is rude and then having to say your autism is the reason why.

Third week on the trot I think that he's used a table? They certainly used one for their AS last week and I think their tables and sparkly laptops were the week before. I could be mixed up in the order though.

Sure, I'm just saying it looks a bit odd when you respond with something like:

"Rude? Got autism mate."

Almost as if you're suggesting having autism = rudeness. Strange. No offence or anything.

Didn't she wear a doctor's coat and have a stethescope (sp) for one routine?

It can be if you look at a lot of Aspergers/Autism booklets. I'm just being honest and yes maybe I'm overreacting to with what people are saying thus that can come accross as rudeness, at least. Want to apologise to tangoqueen and see if we can move on from this.

Surprised because I thought James said on ITT about their lack of use of props.

Yep, Salsa. She's torn a long coat off to reveal her sexy spangly outfit during Salsa, Cha-Cha and Charleston. You could argue it's not technically a prop, but still.

Don't really see how you could argue a stethoscope isn't a prop, since it is literally a prop. I've lumped stuff like chairs, tables and bloody great doors (which Pam just pointlessly danced round anyway) in with "props", even though they're set really.

It's naff and James must be insane if he claims not to be using them. He's used more than virtually anyone - they all go for a chair or something from time to time, but laptops and chalk boards and gawd knows what else... too much. Looks like he can't be arsed to choreograph a full dance.

Apologise for what I've said however people who have what I have can come accross as rude at times. Do find it hard to express opinions and does get me into sticky situations.

Hopefully the other forumers will eventually get to grips with my situations a bit more as I'm a special case to these forums. Things just dictate what I can put onto posts and soforth and that can be percieved as rudeness, basically I get frustrated quite quickly and get a bit short sotus speak.

Realise that I'm not a bad person and mean well to things, but like we said before maybe need to take a chillpill and think a bit more before I come out with it. Do appreciate Alionas choreography even if I'm in the minority on this thread. Lets just move on from this please.

Perhaps that shows how much notice I take of their routines

Like Len I dislike props but they do seem to be the norm this year

I know you really like your fav couple but you really should step back and allow others their opinions too even if they`re not to your liking

The swing was my WTF moment this year. Then I recognised the song and my mind sort of shut down in "che?"

You're a lot less rude than some other posters from earlier years

Don't worry about it dude, everyone's contribution is as valid as anyone else's. The Aliona bashing was way worse last year!

I visited this forum last year and would agree with you to be honest my friend.

I've been enjoying Artem's choreography this year. He's been a great addition to the show.

Hopefully he'll be back next year (with Ian and Matthew!)

Couldn't choose between Natalie and Artem, both equally good.
