Ahh yes the late eighties/early nineties.. the days of lots of colourful shell suits with adidas torsion or nike air trainers.. and a nice big ghetto blaster to carry around on your shoulder or sit on if it was the bigger type.. *sighs* the good old days!!

I was worried when on Junior Apprentice, one of the young girls was wearing a nautical scarf, very 90s.

Apparently, she deals with 'antique' clothing or something. Made me feel old.

Anyhoo - I'm going to suggest that to really keep things contemporary, Cher goes for a ra-ra skirt and boob-tube next week.

To be fair, Cher probably has very little say in what she wears so it's hardly fair to criticise her for it.

Wasn't it week 2 when she refused to be styled?

I loved ra ra skirts!!!

I also had a Joe Bloggs shell suit though

I thought it was quite funny last year, or year before, cant remember (getting old) when all the teenagers were wearing luminous clothing and leggins with the lacy bits at the bottom and it was the same stuff that I'd wear in the 90's.

Are fashions ever new or do they just keep being "inspired" by yesteryear?

I have a very special memory of sometime during the 80s my mom taking me to her bedroom and opening her jewellery box and top drawer, where there was no end of high fashion stuff.

Love beads, real genuine love beads. I was too cool!

I have a few bits and bobs saved for my own daughter, including my shredded to bit Levi 101s.

I might send the kids to school with Grolsch tops on their laces and start a 'new' trend, lol.
