A 72 inch tv s not going to feed them, it might keep them warm if they leave it on and all huddle around it.

They could even sell it and buy that shed the dad is moaning about not having.

In fact, can anyone find a 72" plasma TV on sale in the UK? The likes of John Lewis and Amazon don't do TVs that big.

I think anyone who does anything like this needs to get their head examined. Must be very upsetting for people to get things like this;

BUT why go to a paper with the story? That only shows the 'attackers' that they got a rise. Very silly thing to do. Get the police involved and keep it quiet.

I think the biggest plasma TV is smaller than that. LCD's are much bigger

Loads of reasons. E.g., just for a couple, the paper might be paying for the story, or it might be to try to drum up votes for their daughter.

Of course, made-up death threats would work just as well as actual death threats for those. In which case there'd be no need to worry about showing the 'attackers' that they got a rise. Because they don't really exist.

Soooo, why do people believe everything they read in the papers anyway?

People forget she is just a kid. No one deserves this, but it's not like she's a pedo or something you know? Why does a singer get so much hatred?

You tell me. If people don't like her, then don't talk about her.

Simples

Okay, the fake skeleton is an awful thing to do and very frightening, granted.

But the rest of the article stinks of "poor us, we have nothing (except a 72" plasma), please vote for our girl so she can win and buy us stuff" If you're going to sell a story about hate campaigns and how terrified you all are, then stick to that, instead of trying to play the poor mouth and guilt people into voting for her.

Anyone would be upset by getting a skeleton in the post I think.

I can see both sides. Why should SOME nasty people take away this girls dream? what kind of message does this send? to give in to bullies???

Maybe she needs more protection, but not to throw away her talent.
