Maybe but that wouldn't have been to difficult. They are, without any shadow of a doubt, absolutely totally shit.

I think they have improved. I find them quite charismatic now. I loved their second song, not so much their first

I think in Simon Cowell's world harmonies mean 'oooh' repeatedly so I feel bad for Niall and Louis. Even still, I think they were very good, and definitely not the wost of the night (IMO, that was shockingly Rebecca).

People on DS will never like them, so they make up miming as a justifiable reason. It's like the show is not fixed, just manipulated. Do you really think Simon Cowell would be stupid enough to make them mime? Poor fools. In the same way as they criticise girls for only liking them because they are 'young and cute', I get the feeling that they only dislike them because they are 'young and cute'.

Exactly half of this forum had already started moaning about them before we even saw them as a group. Being a young, attractive male is enough to get you hated around here. It amazes me that a forum that hails Wagner so much has the cheek to moan about One Directions singing.

I wouldn't particularly argue with that one but that isn't what the thread is about. I don't especially like 1D vocally - although they are desperately cute - but they have improved immensely both vocally and in confidence and I strongly believe that they have made the most improvement out of all the contestants.

The two best singers in the competition - Rebecca and Matt - have stayed static (in some cases taking a step back but I believe that to be the bad choice of songs for their voices, particularly Rebecca whom I think has had one decent song suited to her voice).

Having said all that Rebecca and Matt are still head and shoulders above everyone else.
