Worried for Mary
MrsSpoon

I love Mary's singing but neither of yesterday's songs suited her at all and I felt uncomfortable for her.
I want Mary to do what Cher did and step back into her comfort zone for the remainder of the competition.
Trouble is that Louis sticks to that rule book of his as regards song choice. Shame.

I hope she isn't but I have a feeling she will be one of the three with the lowest votes.

I was pleasantly surprised at how she handled All I Want Is You but the pretence at The Pretenders was poor. Anyone can bellow like that. It's not singing.

I think she'll be bottom 3 with Whacko and Cher.

And with the added little 'thing' of her voice still being heard when her microphone was nowhere near her mouth.

Miming? Looked like it to me. I wonder how many other people noticed it.

I thought her first song worked, but I barely remember her second. (and I imagine the producers wanted it that way - they wouldn't have wanted her delivering a good second performance after the lines had opened.) I like her a lot, and I think she's got a raw deal, but she's probably out tonight.

Really noticeable on the last note. The microphone was almost down at her side yet she was still singing ?!?!

I think Mary's done very well for what she is, and I hope she gets some singing work, but she's not got the X-Factor in terms of being good, current and trendy.

I hope she survives, I really do.
