The thing I am missing most this year is the fantastic group dances we have had in previous years. Remember Dirty Dancing and the Jitterbug from 2007? Anyone else got a favourite?

I think this is what is making this year's show so boring. A couple come on - dance for 90 seconds, go before the judges, smile or otherwise then go off. Another couple come on - dance for 90 seconds, go before the judges, smile or otherwise then go off

I miss the group dances too ,as much as anything they tested the couples .

I would suggest that on current form, most of this years celebs would have a problem with any moving obstacles on the floor...last night they had enough problems with their own steps!

It's a very different show this year. They have a Pro troupe who seem to hardly ever get any work and the results show which is just padding and would be better shown live if only the schedule could be worked out (think of the money saved by not having 2 costumes for Tess, Claud and the judges every week).

I was just thinking of that last night when all the celebs were so lacklustre. It would be much more entertaining than all the filler of Tess trying to whip up some banter with the celebs

Series 5 was a vintage for Group dances.

The boys group dance in series 6 is a guilty pleasure of mine. Makes me laugh every time......

I miss the group dances too. I'd hazard a guess the reason we're not getting any this year is because of Ann. Could she really take part in a group dance and not ruin it? If this is the case then it's just one more example of how she has ruined this years series.

I think they have got it easy this series......no 2 dances until very late in the competition and no group dances........which were always entertaining and I miss them.

And that weird cowboy thing last night .. and the 'movie star' cameos tonight. More dancing and less padding please Beeb!
