Brilliant judges...great way of reminiding everyone about "Grannygate"...and making sure those who hadn't heard about it now do

Not one contestant has had to endure such bad press coverage, OTT internet insults and negativity than Katie. Wagner doesnt count, he is a chancer after 5 minutes of fame and not hoping for a serious career in the music industry.

I agree that Wagner has had bad press but nowhere near as vitriolic and ongoing as Katie has had to put up with week after week after week.

I think Grannygate was fantastic. A woman in her 80s with enough life about her to still want male attention AND to be able to get it? Good on her, and stuff her boring daughter (Katie's mother) who's disowned her. We need a LOT more grannies like that, the world would be a brighter and less judgemental place.

I doubt Simon's that cut up about the stories in the press, given that both he and Katie's granny are represented by Max Clifford.
