One should never assume ones contestant is save lets hope we have some singers left after tonight.

I would be very surprised if Cher isnt in the mix this week, she gave two bad performances

One direction were attrocious on the first one, the very worst single performance of the night, I think its this week we find out if the votes match the assumption and hype.

Why would any TV company pick her up for anything at all.”

Gosh, I hadn't realised that Leona Lewis had a personality, and yet there we are - she's got a career. Who'd have thought it?

Leona didn't have serious responsibilities like Rebecca does and she had the full backing of Simon long before she had even won. Simon had been bigging her up both here and in America and was already in talks to get Leona a US record deal. He even took her on Oprah personally and there was a huge campaign to launch her. There is no way he is going to put that much effort into Rebecca. Even Alex didn't get half the same input as Leona and Alex has personality in bags.

I don't think that having the children is a bar to going to the USA, IF it happens. I think she'd do well there, Simon might not, we'll just have to wait and see.

I have to say I really liked Mary's first song- really worked for me- one of my favourite of the series

Second song I agree wasn't as good- it was fine but nothing special- however the arrangement did little for her- I feel they put their effort into the first song

This was the same for a lot of acts- one song being significantly better- Rebecca, Matt, One Direction

Still comfortably one of the best on the night- serious issues with some of the other performances

Obviously Rock week doesn't suit Rebecca and she just didn't get grips with the U2 song at all- it's just getting too repetitive now- second song was better but still- she wasn't comfortable

Only liked Matt's second performance- I Love Rock and Roll is terribly overused and didn't do anything for him- not blaming Matt though as it was stupid song choice

Cher - Girlfriend was just dreadful- awful to listen too- but it is a dreadful song so it was never going to work for me and she murdered Walk this Way as predicted- again stupid song choice- she will probably get rebound vote but she really should be in trouble

Katie murdered Everybody Hurts stripping it of any soul and throwing in unnecessary extra notes all over the place- really liked Help last week and gave her credit but this was a mess- I couldn't remember her first song which says it all

Actually liked Wagner's Creep- his votes will be unrelated to his performance though

Liked One Direction's second performance- not really rock but it was good- Summer of 69 was nonsense- the usual- over produced with very loud backing track:yawn:

Hard to call- I don't know how well anyone who hasn't yet been in the bottom two is doing in terms of polling
