No. I'm pretty sure that he was joking. The fact that such a basic tongue-in-cheek quip went over the heads of millions says just about all we need to know about this show of ours.

Bless him, I've always liked him as a judge, but after watching him last night I'm wondering now if he needs a nice big rest in a building, somewhere quiet, with medical staff. He just rambles and isn't making sense anymore.

If you watch the clip of TreyC singing this in bootcamp, you can see Louis miming the words and he does actually say 'winner' when Treyc says 'weirdo' hahaha.

Maybe it's worth checking what G4 sang as he mentored them and they sang it in the live performances.

I just thought it made him look totally out of touch: it's a classic song that most people know the words to.
