Maybe I'm missing something but can someone tell me what is so special about Cher? As for Monsieur Cowell-what has happened to him? I used to respect that man and he's opinions. Now I see its all just a game to him; he 'loves' Katie and Cher because they are always in the news.

Seems as soon as he lowered the waistband on his trousers he lost his mind.

The only judge who isn't playing a game is Danni-and for that reason I have the utmost respect for her. Plus her clothes are ace!

I think he turned 50, went through the manopause and lost his mind. He got so worried that he's out of touch, that he started groping about in the dark and pulled Katie n Cher out the bag - not to mention overlooked already established groups and decided to manifacture 2 of his own out of tweenies.

I don't get it either and Cher's songs weren't the slighest bit of rock last night.

Don't blame his age, that's got nothing do with it, not everyone 50 and over thinks like Simon and my mum is one of them, infact she agrees with this thread and wants Simon to get a kick up his ass.

I think he's bored with the British version and is focusing on the American X Factor

I'd love to see your mum giving Simon a kick up his ass.

Yes my mum would love to give Simon a kick up his ass by making Wagner the winner, she's actually on this forum more times then me, always giving her opinions on Simon & co .

I've just turned 50, and I can still spot miming a mile off, hear who can and cannot sing and I could spot that "The Reason" should have gone into the final 12 as they were obviously commercial and potential winners.

Age is nothing to do with it - he's just a pratt!
