Wagner is a "Plant/Fifth Columnist"

This is a singing competition and clearly Wagner can't sing...so what is he doing in the live finals?

I've got a theory that he has been planted in the competition (without his knowledge) with the express intention (of the Simon Cowell?/Programme Producers?/Production Company?) of knocking out each week anyone who poses a threat to the "favoured contestant" they want to eventually win the competition.

I can't believe that Simon Cowell, the Programme Producers or the Production Company would not have been wise to the possibility of a "Rage Against the Machine" situation occuring this season. Are they using the "Rage" votes to do their dirty work for them?

No, they wanted a fun act to make us laugh for a few weeks like Jedward. But he's actually very likeable and funny; and the other acts are dull...

We've had this one before and dispensed with it.

Lord Wagner is clearly no plant, and is more akin to a Mighty Oak.

I would much rather listen to Wagner than that horrible Cher, Katie or that gormless boy band.

He looks like Robert Plant's older brother.

Sure, he hasn't got a technically perfect voice but neither did the likes of David Bowie and John Lennon.

Will viewers be laughing when he knocks Matt out of the competition?

Me too. But if he was on x factor today it wouldn't be called 'technically perfect' because he doesn't screech and warble. I'm talking x factor's view of a great voice

If sense prevails, this is the weekend Wagner gets the boot. Four of the other acts have surely upped their game to prove that the joke has gone far enough.

But a precident has been set with the Rage Against The Machine situation referred to elsewhere on these forums.

As I say, if sense prevails.

It would be a forlorn hope to see Wagner, Widdicombe and McKieth to be booted off their respective shows during the next couple of days.

I can see Rebecca, Cher and Matt being steamrollered out of the competition by the planted Wagner and that's after he got rid of all the other challengers. He's not going to win the competion but he is going to consistently starve contestants of votes.

The problem with Wagner being in it this year is the talent being displayed from the other candidates is way lower than previous series. He's entertaining which is a rare thing this year. I daresay Jedward would have done better this year too!

Yeah, the Wagner tide turned for me during Elton John week. Everyone was so terrible that there was no option but to vote for Wagner. The problem is none of the other contestants inspire me enough to vote for them, I just don't really care.
