Is there any 'subtence' that's not suppose to be eaten 'neat' but you can?

Marmite
Ketchup
Raw Jelly Cubes

Can just eat it neat. I can.

I could eat the old smash pellets raw as well years ago, until they changed it to flakes.

My daughter likes to nick a frozen oven chip when I'm not looking. And raw strands of spaghetti.

Cake mix. I usually have a teaspoon or two of it before it gets baked. Just for testing purposes

That is a must! Can't make a cake without trying out the mix!

Yeah, but I thought in some cuisines, mushrooms ARE eaten raw.

Raw mushrooms are lovely in a salad, or with prawns with french dressing over.

Yeah, I had them in a salad once. It was much to my surprise that they were raw and I didn't really like them. I think I was too closed-minded and would definitely give them another try.

That's not weird. Haven't you ever heard of crudités?

I remember years ago trying a bit of raw sausage meat when mum was making some stuffing. I have to say I really liked the taste of it but it's not something I eat on a regular basis. I think I was more surprised that it tasted really good!

Not weird at all and much healthier for you than cooked.
