Lol I've noticed I'm in a minority with NC2U
Diamonds are Forever was amazing I agree, and I enjoyed Thriller but I thought he was nervous with that as well as Jealous Guy.

That's fair enough but Aiden would've done something different. Even if you didn't like him, waiting for his performances was exciting, admit it

I absolutely love Thriller but it was probably the most marmite performance ever with about 90% of people hating it...

No way.

Aiden was awful, possibly the most excruciatingly bad finalist I had to watch every week.

Paije was cute, but just filler.

Aiden was never given the right material for his voice and style, Dannii hasnt got a clue about those sorts of things.

Paige I wasnt fussed about but the guy could sing - I actually think John was a better singer than Paige for the record.

Would have so loved to see him do Bonkers as his sing-off, involving the audience like at his solo shows. The Weasel would have crumbled to dust and blown away!

Aha that would've been immense!

Cant Im afraid, he peaked week 1, there was nothing left in his arsenal IMO. Nothing against him as a person but just didnt like his vocal style, as many didnt.

Missing Aiden for sure. Not Paije though, he was just ordinary

Loll the Audience would've chanted Aiden even louder than they already did, but Simon would've still picked Katie. I can't believe he was pretending like he was thinking about it because "he likes them both". He was the one who set up Aiden's exit.

Have you seen some of the post xfactor stuff he's done, like Bonkers, The Cave, Mr Brightside/Use Somebody? Because those performances show he definitely had a lot more to give. He can even rap pretty well!

I sincerely hope not

Hope so! It's unusual for someone who got voted out early to get a record deal, BUT I hope it happens. Even if it's a very small independent label.
Also apparently he has a modelling contract!

So does Lucie Jones from last year, she's been in Le Mis as well, so doing very well for herself. Not sure about Aiden's musical potential, but I definitely think someone should get him in the studio doing his OWN thing, not what some corporate marshmallow thinks is 'unique' and 'quirky'.

Yeah he says he writes so I would definitely want him to write his own stuff, and he plays the piano/guitar. He just needs to be given the chance to release stuff.

I'm not missing Aiden one jot as he was awful. Paije on the other hand should still be there, lovely guy with a lovely voice who I wish could be in the final

Missing AIDEN lots and lots. The show just ISN'T the same without him, he brout something different to the snow.

Paige I'm not bothered about tbh. Even though aiden went 2 weeks ago before paige, I'm still more sad about aiden not being there.

The sad thing is that if he was still in he would have rocked it last night..

I hope you are right. He has so much potential and is definitely unique in a good way. Recod Lables would be stupid not to sign him.

Yes, I know this really, but still a good fantasy. Hopefully the weasel will finally go pop in a few hours time............

This.

People who think it's Wagner's fault Aiden went out are wide of the mark. Simon's the one to blame for not giving him a second chance, yet deigning to give Katie her twentieth.

It's not Wagners fault at all, it's not even Katie's fault. We should vote Wagner though to piss Simon off now. Poor Wagner was totally shafted this week.

I agree with the OP I seriously could not get interested in it last night and am just watching through habit more than anything else now

Me too. I definitely miss Aiden's quirky off centre performances. I don't think saving katie will save her in the long run and I think she should have gone. I think Aiden was more populatr, people just assumed he was safe.

Paije on the other hand had people voting for him because they knew he wasn't safe. There just weren't enough of them.

I agree 100%, it was boring and tedious and I'm finding it such a chore now. With nothing to look forward to, I'm simply watching just because I have done so since the auditions and honestly don't like the idea of wasting a good 6 months on something when it's so near the end!
